Service staff are very friendlyThe service is also very goodCan speak English and can converse fluentlyBreakfast is a very delicious Japanese breakfastAccommodation is a traditional Japanese hotelThere is also a bathhouse where you can take a bath which is very comfortable. There is also a large social hall for drinking tea, chatting and admiring the garden view. You can see Mount Fuji directly from the doorThe park behind has a beautiful view of Lake KawaguchiSmall disadvantage because it is a traditional buildingThe sound insulation is relatively poor. If you are a light sleeper, please consider it!

The staff were extremely nice and everything was clean, but the room was scented with a very strong chemical air freshener. The awful smell made it difficult to sleep and both of us in the room had bad headaches by morning. It would have otherwise been a decent place to stay. I don’t know what problem the hotel was trying to cover up with such heavy fragrance.

The ryokan was very cute and traditional. The location was great—very close to the lake, shops, and restaurants. Our room had a nice view of Mount Fuji. Although the toilet was in a separate room, it didn’t bother me. The bath was lovely, with an outdoor view. The staff was extremely kind and even gave us a lift to the station early in the morning. I really appreciated their kindness, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

First of all, let me tell you my thoughts: I want to go again. This is an accommodation where you want to take a week off and relax for a week by walking or riding a bike near the accommodation, soaking in the sunlight, reading a book, and eating at local restaurants. This accommodation can be reached by taking the Kawaguchiko Green Line. It's a bit far from the city center. You have to go on your own when you go, and when you check out in the morning, you can easily get to the station by driving the car at a set time in the morning. The room is a tatami room. When you first entered the accommodation, was there an unfamiliar tree? It smelled like grass, so I did something and it smelled like tatami haha. After an hour, I quickly got used to it. The room was small and cute, but the blanket was so comfortable that I had a good night's sleep. If you come in winter, bring underwear. It might be a bit cold.Thankfully, the accommodation had a living room, so I was able to drink water, drink tea, and eat snacks I bought at the supermarket in the evening. The living room is only open until 11 o'clock. However, even though the accommodation was fully booked, it was very quiet (I really thought it was just us, but when I saw the breakfast room, it was full lol), so I couldn't make a fuss at 11 o'clock. I have no choice but to go to bed early anyway.Toilets and bathrooms are shared. It's a small Japanese-style bathhouse, and I almost regretted not going there without taking a bath. In the evening it was a windowless bath, and in the morning it was a windowed bath, but it was nice to look outside while taking a bath because it was very elegant. The water was so soft that I felt refreshed after washing.Breakfast must be reserved the day before, but if you are checking in late, we recommend contacting the hotel in advance to make a breakfast reservation. I also got a little carried away. Be sure to eat breakfast. It's so delicious. It feels like when my mom made me breakfast before going to school. My friend and I each ate two bowls of rice. Thanks to you, I had a good rest and this is an accommodation I want to go back to again. Next time I visit Kawaguchigo, I will go again.

Stayed here for the Fuji Hill Climb event. They allowed me to put my road bike in the guest room to prevent theft. This was a very nice inn, with a very well-maintained garden with pine trees and lawns, and a sense of cleanliness. Booked through Air B&B.
