I recently visited an onsen expecting a relaxing and rejuvenating experience, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a major disappointment. I would rate this place a mere 1 star, mainly due to its severe overpricing and misleading presentation.Firstly, the cost is absolutely outrageous. The price is inflated more than 2-3 times compared to what it's actually worth. It felt like a complete rip-off for what was offered. The private onsen itself was shockingly tiny, resembling more of a puddle than a proper relaxing bath. This was a far cry from the serene images depicted on their booking profile, which had clearly been heavily edited to appear far more appealing and luxurious than reality.Despite these major flaws, I have to acknowledge that the dinner and breakfast were quite enjoyable. They were flavorful and satisfying, providing some respite from the otherwise disappointing visit.Overall, unless you are willing to pay an exorbitant price for a subpar onsen experience, while only enjoying a decent meal, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere. There are surely better options available that don't rely on false advertising and unjustified pricing.

We are very happy we chose this hotel to spend a couple of days. The room is very spacious, the bathroom is the best we've seen so far, the bathroom floor is heated, and it was always warm. Besides the large and comfortable bed, there was a huge sofa next to it, and the TV was very, very big. There was also a great refrigerator with water bottles when we arrived, and you could request water bottles and towels at any time. The onsen is the perfect size for two people, and they can adjust the temperature if you want to change it.All the staff were very kind to us, but we especially want to thank Veronica for her excellent service, kindness, and the smile with which she treated us the whole time we were there.

A nice surprise at the end of a discreet alley. Contemporary room with private onsen. Breakfast alone in an alcove with exceptional service. Belvedere in the room to admire Mount Fuji. Magnificent garden. You have to stay there more than one night…

We travel around the world, and I have to says that Yumedono is one of the best hotel to stay in Japan. The dining services at breakfast and dinner were simply amazing and out of this world. We had dinner every night and every night was a different experience of Japanese food and culture degustation. It was perfect from the service , staff, the room ambient, the little details in the cutlery and the food arrangement. We couldn't fault a thing and most importantly every single dish from small to large was perfectly proportioned and tastes well balanced with perfection. Love it love it and love it. Definitely a place to stay and just enjoy the dinner then watch Mt Fuji from the room. Thank you and we will be back.
