I stayed here to participate in the Niseko Classic (bicycle road race held in June).◆Good points・It's spacious, you can put your bicycle near the entrance.(Used by 6 people)・Easy to use kitchen(It's all electric, so you'll need a sharpener because the knife won't cut.)・You can use YOUTUBE on TV.(You can also use Netflix and Amapura if you log in)◆Unfortunate place・The smell of paint in the living room is strong.(Paint? Glue?)・The bed is king size and can be used as a double.(It is easier to use separately and as a single,It's fine if you're a couple. . . )・Parking lot is rickety

We enjoyed our 4-night stay at Kokage. There were two bedrooms each with 2 beds, one room with a bunk bed and one tatami room with 3 futons, which was perfect for our party of 5 adults and 4 children. The layout of the living, dining rooms and kitchen was great because we could watch our children play both inside and outside in the snow while relaxing over a cup of coffee. The bathroom/shower room are quite small but they are what you would find in a typical Japanese apartment. Overall I would say that the interior decor is very simple but comfortable and the place is well-equipped. They have a washing machine and dryer but we didn't do any laundry while we were there. Location-wise, it is supposed to be near a shuttle bus stop but unfortunately the shuttle wasn't running this season. Luckily a friend had rented a mini van, otherwise it would have been a headache to get to the slopes. There were a few dining options within walking distance though. The only thing I wasn't happy about was the smell. Not sure whether it was from the renovation or the gas heaters but I I wish I didn't have to be hit by it everytime I walked into the house. I did get used to it after a while.
