The parking lot was free, the location was good (about 20 minutes walk to Nishiki Market), the size and atmosphere of the room, and the washing machine and kitchen were nice. Just an old house? Perhaps because it was renovated, my sensitive partner said it smelled like dust and mold (I couldn't really tell). It would have been nice to have an air purifier. The most disappointing thing was that the bedroom had shoji screens, so the morning light was bright...If I didn't block out the light with curtains or blinds, I would wake up. The windows are not soundproofed at all, and are they from the next door? The normal voices of people talking, the sounds of birds, and the sound of cars passing by were so loud that I couldn't sleep comfortably at all. I was really disappointed because I was tired from traveling and didn't get enough sleep. I thought it would have been more comfortable to sleep in a Japanese-style room on the warehouse side! The store clerk's response to the phone was very good, so I wrote a review with hopes that things would get better, even though it might be harsh!

Do you mean a guest room? It was my first time using it. Since it's spring break season and Kyoto is one of Japan's leading tourist destinations, all accommodations are fully booked and somewhat expensive. So I booked a night at a low-priced inn that caught my eye with some trepidation.I was traveling with children and had limited time, so I wanted to have as much fun as possible by sightseeing and shopping, and I had decided that I would only need to stay overnight at an inn, so I think I was able to stay in a very good inn.I asked for breakfast to be included and it was delivered on time every morning. I ordered a hot sandwich, and the bread was delicious, the vegetables were fresh enough to be eaten as a salad, and the portion was perfect! There is a private parking lot for one minivan in front of the entrance, and the automatic lock at the entrance is easy to use and provides perfect security. The inn itself is a renovated old folk house, and is exactly like a Kyomachiya. The only thing I could see was a storehouse across the courtyard, but the door was left open, making it a little eerie. If the storehouse can be renovated to create a nice atmosphere and be rented out as a single room, I have a feeling that it will become an accommodation with even better conditions for foreigners.I had a slight problem when applying, but I was very satisfied with the way they handled my calls and subsequent communication on LINE. I'm sorry for the late review comment, but thank you very much for your help.My whole family is talking about using it again when we travel to Kyoto. We hope to see you again next time.

It is very clean and comfortable, with complete equipment and yukata provided. There are two toilets. The toilets have timed induction lights. If they are on for too long, the lights will go out. But just wave your hand again and it will be fine. You can see another space from the outdoor landscape area (not sure if it is a house), and there is a light turned on at night... which is a bit mysterious. There are many izakayas near the B&B, and you can experience local daily life on the way to Nishiki Market, which is great! The station near the B&B is a small station. If you go to Fushimi Inari, Tokifune, Osaka City, or Kansai Airport, you have to change trains in the middle, which is a bit troublesome. If your schedule is too full and time is limited, it is recommended to stay near Kyoto Station. More convenient.
