First of all, the rice is delicious. I gain weight every time I travel to Hokkaido, but the food here is so delicious that I can't complain about that. If you are staying overnight, we strongly recommend that you choose half board.The room was also good.It was a lake view room, so it was really nice to be able to see Lake Toya from the room.The pension is located right in front of Lake Toya, so you can touch the water of Lake Toya just by crossing the road.At night, we crossed the road and watched fireworks from the shores of Lake Toya. After the fireworks are over, look up at the night sky and enjoy stargazing. I was able to see more stars than usual and a faint glimpse of the Milky Way.Please prepare an app to observe the night sky.The room had a beautiful view of Mt. Yotei over Lake Toya, and it was a really nice room.The parking lot is large enough to accommodate buses, so you can park safely and easily.I had a good degree of freedom as I didn't have to deal with people taking things in and out like I would at a hotel.It's also convenient to be able to walk to Seicomart.However, please note that it is not open 24 hours a day.There is no doubt that staying here made my Hokkaido trip even more fulfilling.Even if we stayed for several nights, the dinner menu never overlapped. It's the best.Nowadays, many people choose new or famous hotels, but please try staying here at Pension Ono.

A lovely family run hotel by the shore of Lake Toya. Decor may need updating but it adds to the charm of the place. Room was most importantly clean and functional. You'll have a much more personalised stay here than you will at the larger hotels which are in the centre of Toyako Onsen.

As well as leaving a review at the accommodation reservation agency, I will also leave a review here. That's because I hope that business goes well and that I can be of some help to the happiness of the owner's family. Haha. Even if I don't write down the details, the good reviews from those who have visited show the true value of this accommodation. The location, the fireworks that my husband and I watched through the rain in front of us... it was a satisfactory accommodation even in the rain. Even though it rained quite a bit, luckily there were fireworks. I'm going to have a good night's sleep. Enjoy half board (dinner + breakfast) ~ This is an accommodation that good people want to visit and get a little happiness ~ I especially recommend it to those who like simple accommodations.

An old-fashioned pension with a lake view that is rich in nature, although it is a little outside of the city center. The kind and cheerful proprietress welcomes you. The rooms and facilities are clean. There is also a washing machine and dryer which is helpful. I'm also happy that there is a Seicomart next door. Since it was a weekday, there were no suitable dinner restaurants in the center of Toyako, so I would have preferred a meal-inclusive menu.

Delightful family-run pension with a view of Lake Toya. "Grandma" speaks English and has a great sense of humour. The meals whipped up by the "Son" were delicious and generous in portions & ingredient selection. Although the interior might need some sprucing up eg change of carpets, we enjoyed a quiet overnight stay.

Had the pleasure of staying here for two nights. Appreciated the lady proprietor’s excellent customer service. When I mentioned about renting bicycles. She drove me over to the nearest rental shop and translated my request.

As a pension, it is of a high standard. The food is handmade and the taste and ingredients are amazing. The hot spring is small, but there is a bath! The parking lot is also spacious. The location is far from the hot spring town, but there is a convenience store next door, and Lake Toya is right in front of you, so you can relax and relax. Clean accommodation!

We appreciate the hardwork of the family who runs this place, I can tell the whole family is helping at the front desk and in the kitchen. The food is exquisite considering the price we paid (we stayed half board). The hotel is not in the onsen street area so there is nothing much at the surrounding if you don’t have a car. However you can walk across the road to gaze at the beautiful lake. Unfortunately the walking path along the lake ends just a hundred meter or so from the hotel and it doesn’t connect all the way up to the onsen street area.

The room is clean and comfortable, the food ingredients are very fresh, the hotel's bathhouse is small and comfortable, and the scenery outside the hotel is great. It is recommended for self-driving people to stay for one night

The view is extremely good, facing Lake Toya, and the scenery is beautiful. Although it's an old house, the windows are very well soundproofed, so it's not noisy at all. Best of all, the food is very delicious. Here we had some of the best food we've had on our many trips to Japan. And it's full and distinctive. (The grandmother prepared Hokkaido's distinctive venison. The three of us tasted it together. I can't eat enough for two of my family members anymore, so I have never touched it. Avoid the waves. Thank you very much for the money, the grandmother said she could take it home and eat it with her son.

I stayed here on a trip to Hokkaido.No complaints.The view from the front of the inn is also good. At night, you can see the Milky Way even with the street lights on the road.Best of all, the location while eating was excellent, and I was able to enjoy my meals in the morning and evening.I would like to visit you again.postscriptThere is also a convenience store (Seico Mart) about 100m next door, so it's not too close or too far, making it very convenient.2nd timeAfter all, it's nice here.It felt like visiting a distant relative's house.The location for dining is excellent.

Had a lovely time at Pension Ohno! Landlady and the staff were very friendly, the evening meals were sumptuous, and the small public onsen delightful. When we were there (mid April) the onsen was practically empty and we could use it alone. The dining room has a great view of lake Toya, makes a great setting for enjoying your meals.We went for the halfboard, and it was totally worth it. The evening meals changes each time, always delicious and plenty.Since we came by public transport, we either walked or took a bus to and from Toya Bus terminal. Buses seemed to go once an hour. The surrounding areas have some nice hikes to explore.The host were very lovely people and on top of that drove all the way to Toya Bus stop to hand me a cap that I forgot in the room after checking out. どうもありがとうございます!

The landlady is kind and the Japanese-style grilled fish breakfast is delicious. I highly recommend staying here for a short trip. It is a bit far from the downtown area of Lake Toya, but it does not affect its high CP value.

You gonna love this if you're a fan of vintage house-style stay.There's a onsen provided within the house, closed until midnight, highly recommended.You chose a breakfast pack, also, it turned out to be a Japanese-style, surprisingly great!
