A wonderful guesthouse in great location. Super clean and nicely decorated. The futon mattress is very comfortable. Andy was an amazing host. He shared some great tips on what to do / where to dine etc. I will surely be back and recommend this place to my friends.By the way, Andy also does snorkelling tours and I am planning to do this on my next trip !

The house is clean and functional, you can cook and laundry without any problem.Owners are helpful and kind. The futon beds are comfortable. The only downside to this house is the noise. No noise reduction at all in the house, every doors bangs and every steps of other guests are resonating into your ears when you sleep (as you sleep on futons so extremely close to the floor). Noise reduction can surely be added to doors but you will always hear steps of other guests. Earplugs are recommended (and some are furnished by owners).

Fantastic guesthouse. The amenities (especially the kitchen) make you feel at home right away. We cooked many times ourselves with fresh, local ingredients we got from the Farmer's Market situated right around the corner. The chambers are cosy and quiet. You have 2 bikes available for free - granted you probably won't be using them to tour the island as they are baby-sized. But still very handy to cruise around town. Last but not least, the hosts, Andy and his partner Haruko, are very friendly and helpfull. Andy offers diving excursions or helps find other guides if he's full. I warmly recommend Guest House Ishigaki for you stay on this beautiful island.

It's clean, the plumbing is easy to use, and the location is good! Best of all, the owners are a kind and wonderful couple, and I want to come back! It was an inn that made me think 😆

It's the best guesthouse I have ever stayed at. It's so clean, very well decorated, and you feel at home. There is everything you need, and everything is well thought. It's very well located as well.Andy, one of the hosts, offers activities such as snorkelling.I highly appreciate the fact that you can leave your luggage at the guesthouse after your checkout and keep using the common areas and the showers.

Sweet little guesthouse in the heart of the city. Super clean and quiet. The owners take great care of you and are helpful when planning your vacation. You can also book snorkeling tours directly with them. There is a well-stocked kitchen and enough bathrooms and toilets. The rooms are a good deal and, like the spacious lounge, are very nicely designed. I spent 2 weeks here and felt very comfortable. The Farmers Market with local fruits and vegetables is about 3 minutes walk. Everything was great, gladly again. I have already recommended the guesthouse.

I stayed for 3 nights during the February holidays. The single room only has space for a futon + α, but it's a private room with a lock, so I'm thankful for that. The room also has air conditioning and a safe. There are one toilet and shower room on the 1st and 2nd floors. When I stayed there, the 1st floor was for men and women, and the 2nd floor was for women, but it seems to change depending on the number of guests.Body soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, and hair iron are also provided, as well as a washing machine and dryer (for a fee), and a clothesline on the balcony on the 2nd floor. There were also two free bicycles (first come, first served). The kitchen and toilets are state-of-the-art. I want to live in a house like this.As expected, the soundproofing of the room was not very good, and I was in a room right next to the common space, so I could hear a lot of people talking, but it got quiet after the lights went out, so the level of civility was high. The owner seems to offer snorkel tours mainly on weekdays, and there is a good chance of encountering manta rays and dolphins, so please inquire if you are interested.
