We had an unforgettable stay at Umisuzume. Masaru greeted us with such warmth and ensured that every aspect of our visit was comfortable and enjoyable. We stayed for two nights and opted for both dinner and breakfast, which turned out to be an excellent choice—the food was truly exceptional! I highly recommend booking the meal plan. One evening, we also had a barbecue, which was another highlight of our stay.Initially, we were unsure about booking due to the shared bathrooms and toilets, but our concerns were completely unfounded. Both the bathroom and toilet areas were spotlessly clean, spacious, and felt just as private and comfortable as if we were in our own apartment.The outdoor space is equally charming, with a serene atmosphere and a beach only a five-minute walk away. Every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations, and we will certainly return whenever we visit Ishigaki again.Thank you so much for hosting us!

Thank you for staying with us for 3 nights and 4 days. The room, toilet and shower room were clean and comfortable.The owner and the person who prepared the food were very gentle and kind, and it was a heartwarming trip.The dog Maron, Yasuke, was also cute❗️

I stayed with my two children for one night, and the friendly and kind staff took great care of me. The beach within walking distance (no showers or toilets) was also private, and it was great to have a BBQ while watching the sunset from the terrace ✨

I stayed there for one night to take pictures of Mt. Nosoko and the Milky Way.The friendly owner, who always had a smile on his face, was by his side during mealtimes and was able to communicate well with the guests.Since we are a small inn, we will provide you with attentive care and advice.The room is also clean.The 2 toilets and 2 shower rooms are shared, but there is no problem as long as the previous user used them properly.When I got out of the shower, I rinsed my hair to make sure I didn't lose a single hair.The food is delicious and satisfying.I told him that since I drink alcohol, I don't need white rice at night.I could see the Milky Way from the hostel.I couldn't see the co-star with Mt. Nosoko, but you can see the beautiful stars.There were also a lot of shooting stars.I had a great time driving around the northern part of the country at night with other solo travelers.

The employees are very friendly and kind.There's a lot of rice, and it's homemade.It feels like a taste of home.You can buy beer and juice by paying money.Since the inn is located in nature, there are insects and geckos.

Anyway, the rice was very delicious. Orion beer and awamori are also available at the hotel for 300 yen, so there's no problem even if you don't have a convenience store nearby! Sanpin tea and coffee were free and unlimited.The room had an ocean view, was clean and free of bugs, and although the toilet and shower were shared, it was clean and close to the room.The person who prepared the meals was also very attentive and kind.The owner was also very nice and let me experience SUP.As mentioned in other reviews, the bed and towels smelled a bit, but since I had brought my own towels, it wasn't a problem!It's only a few minutes walk to the sea, and the sea is very beautiful and there's no one around, so it's a private beach. It was the best. *See photoAt night, we could see a sky full of stars from the inn. The first night was a new moon, and the second night was Tanabata, and both were really beautiful Milky Way. *See photo

Mt. Nosoko is a mountain behind and the sea is in front. In May, when I woke up in the morning, I saw red-spotted birds all over the place, and at night I heard scops owls singing. It is a place where you can spend a peaceful time with a natural environment. The food was delicious, and the room, shower room, and toilet were kept clean and comfortable. Thank you very much for your consideration.
