Excellent value, location, strong A/C and very clean. Ishigaki accommodation is very expensive ($200 CAD per night) but we were able to find Lulaliya for less than $100 CAD per night. We also rented a car because you can see a lot more on the island that way. Very hard to get around without a car. Kabira Bay is beautiful, easy walk from this hotel. A short drive to the nearby beaches, waterfall and other sightseeing spots. The best Ishigaki beef and local sushi we had was at Sushi Jinbei, just a 5min walk from this hotel.The service was impeccable. We were warmly greeted by the staff upon arrival and gave us a tour of the property. They gave us lots of tips on what to do, where to eat and helped us make bookings for activities as needed. The rooftop patio was so beautiful, you can see the mountain, ocean, and beautiful sunrise and sunsets. Don't think there is a rooftop patio in any other accommodation nearby.This is a family run hotel. We even got to meet the owner's wife and sons. They were so kind and friendly.You can rent snorkels, surf boards and other aquatic equipment from them for super cheap. 500 yen per snorkel for use until you check out.My husband and I stayed in a two twin bed room with our own private bathroom and balcony with storage area for our belongings and enough room for 1 suitcase each. There was a large communal lounge, dining area (no stove) and lots of communal fridges and drinking water supply. Outdoor lounge area with hammock as well. No elevator so it's not accessible but they help you carry your suitcases up. Otherwise, it was perfect!Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others!

The owner and staff welcomed us like family, and it was a place I felt like I would return to again.The owner's child is close in age to his 5-year-old son, and they play together.The staff helped me catch bugs at night.It was a good experience ^_^We recommend taking a walk around the most beautiful Kabira Bay at sunrise.

The staff were very nice!The stars you can see from the rooftop are a natural planetarium!The rooms are also clean! It’s great to be able to walk right to Kabira Beach ☺️

I used it when I stayed one night on Ishigaki Island, and it cost about 12,000 yen, which was a pretty good price for a poor person like me, but it's only a 2-3 minute walk from Kabira Bay.I had a wonderful time in the relaxing and wonderful location, and I would like to use it again when I travel to Ishigaki Island.(May 26th and 27th, 2020) I used "Rurariya" for the first time in a while.I made a reservation on my smartphone and it cost 10,000 yen (9,000 yen plus breakfast 1,000 yen) for sharing the toilet, bath, and refrigerator.The service was excellent as always.

Amazing location! Only a few minutes walk to the beach. The staff here are both super friendly and are very helpful as well. Rooms are well looked after, as are customers.

It feels like something between a dormitory and a pension.It was a double room facing Kabira Bay, but the room was quite simple and didn't have a TV or desk. The refrigerator will be shared in the hallway. The unit bath is also small and does not have a washlet. There are a lot of things that hotels don't have (lol)I feel like there's a 30cm step up to the bathroom.It's nice to have chairs on the balcony.You can enjoy the view outside from the balcony.There is also a rooftop. It's nice to have a hammock so you can lie down and look at the starry sky.The walls seem a little thin. .Also, there is a ramen shop on the first floor at night, so you can hear some noise.Although the staff were quite pleasant, I honestly felt that the room and accommodation rate were a little unbalanced.

We had a very pleasant stay. The rooms are clean and quiet. But above all, Haru and Satoshi are great hosts! We enjoyed it so much that we came back several times. They have a small café at the entrance which is ideal for relaxing with a beer. They serve very good tantanmen. I highly recommend.

Mr. Satoshi, who lives at the inn, which is located close to Kabira Bay, is a bright and energetic person who responded politely.The room was beautiful and clean.Also, the 1st floor of the inn is a ramen izakaya called NAGI, and the Tandan noodles made by Satoshi for dinner were very delicious!The beer I ordered with it was also freezing cold.Most of the customers who came to the izakaya were from overseas, and it was so crowded that it never stopped.The additional breakfast we requested was also very nice and delicious.I will use it again when I come to Ishigaki Island!

As most already reviewed the place feels like home. Kosge and Satoshi make you feel very much like home. In all my stay i met the most and nicest people at Lulaliya.
