Use Autosite DIt's nice that you can pitch as many tents as you want, regardless of the number of users, as it's a site fee.The toilets are clean and close to the administration building, so I have no complaints.It depends on the site, but it's automatic.I wonder what it's like to not have a water source at all sites... I think I would like all sites to have a water source.The brightness of the outside lights inside the site is unnecessary (lol)You can throw away your trash and go home for 300 yen.

Visited in August 2024I came back without staying the night because the toilet was dirty.Moreover, the campsite is sloped so I didn't like it.

I stayed there for one night the other day.I went without a reservation thinking it was free, but the car site was empty and the price was around 2,000 yen, so I stayed there for one night.The kitchen and toilets are clean, and you can throw away your trash by buying bags. There was also a 24-hour vending machine.This campsite is definitely a good campsite, but the downside was that the scenery was a bit lacking.It's hard to see the precious water reservoir from the campsite (of course there are some places where you can see it), and the street lights are on even at night, so it's hard to see the stars.Since it was late September, the temperature at night was 3℃, but I was able to sleep comfortably.There are two roadside stations closer to the supermarket, so we recommend shopping there!

It was my first time using it! Although it was summer vacation, it was empty probably because it was a weekday. The manager said that many people come on weekends. I used a free site, but the car site looked pretty good. It has a good view, and there are toilets and a kitchen nearby, so it seems pretty convenient! The price wasn't too high, and I found it on the power supply site for less than 5,000 yen!

For an auto campsite, there is power but no cooking facility.I have never had a place where I had to choose the one with the highest price.Although it's expensive, it's quite a distance to the kitchen and where there is water.It is unclear what constitutes a basic campsite.

This year, I came to Kenbuchi for the third time.At a camping site overlooking the lakeFrom there 🌅 morning sun while drinking coffee ☕In the morning, I can do it in a daze.There is also a hot spring nearby 👍️

Free site usage on weekdaysThere are several sites, and I'm having trouble deciding where to go because they say it's free on a first-come, first-served basis.We decided on a site that was close to a dog park and had restrooms.I parked my car in the parking lot, so I avoided the more scenic area at the top because I had to carry it up the stairs.This campsite is built on a slope, and the car sites are all on the upper side, and the views are great, but the journey is quite steep.So it might be inconvenient if the site is not near the toilet.The lake was right in front of us, and the scenery was nice, but there was a road in front of the campsite, and the noise from cars was quite loud, which made it a little strange.Also, hunting deer? I was surprised when I heard a loud gunshot. My dog is scared 🐶 The sound of cars & I'm having trouble sleeping due to the sounds of cars.The site itself is beautiful and it's easy to pitch a tent. However, the restroom near the dog run is a fairly old park restroom. Japanese style🤣There is a simple alkaline ♨️ at a managed hotel for 500 yen, or 450 yen with JAF discount.

It's very beautiful. There are almost no customers on weekdays. The nearby hot springs are amazing! Convenience store is 6 km from Secoma in Kenbuchi town. The scenery is also great! However... there is a cemetery nearby, and even though there was no wind, I woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of metal creaking periodically... When it got light, there was no sound... so... minus 1.

Is it correct to rent a car site and enjoy it with multiple people?The top of the hill is a car site, and the bottom is a free site, but large trucks pass by on the road below late at night and early in the morning, so the car site is recommended for those who are concerned about noise.Especially the F site above is extremely spacious.The site above is spacious as it is adjacent to a closed park golf course, but be careful as there are cup holes here and there.By the way, outside of high season, you can check in at Lakeside Sakuraoka, a nearby hot spring.

We used the campsite. It was a lakeside campsite built on the mountainside, but the first downside was that there were only two toilets compared to the vastness of the site. I thought it would be a better campsite if they could improve it. I only had one night to sleep in, so after careful consideration, I decided on a free site booth that would have been the first to be built.It was the closest to the hotel and had Japanese-style toilets, one for men and one for men.There was an old-style kitchen. I went there. It was quiet with no other users besides us, but there was an administration building that was probably used in the past, and the curtains were half open, so it was kind of creepy when I saw it at night lol.Other than that, there are no restrooms unless you go to the top of the mountain, and I think the car site cost 4,000 yen per night. The toilet there looked new. There is a new kitchen on the way up there, but either way it's far from the restrooms and it's a mountain so it's difficult to climb up and down, so it's not that far. It's not possible unless you go there by car. I also went to look at car sites, but they are very inconvenient except for those near the restrooms. It's either far from the kitchen or far from the toilet. Maybe it was created by someone who has never been camped before? It is made in a way that makes you think. By the way, on the day I stayed, it rained on and off, so I had dinner under the roof of the kitchen. (The kitchen is spacious and could fit a small tent haha. That might be the only good thing haha) I got bitten by mosquitoes 20 times in about an hour haha. I had a terrible experience lol. Be careful of bush mosquitoes. Insect spray is required.I might visit again once the toilet issue is resolved lol.The environment was quiet and the cleaning was thorough. I think that can be appreciated. At that time, the administration building was closed, so looking at other people's comments, it appears that there is a toilet in the administration building. It might be better when the administration building is open.

I used Car Site C.It has a kitchen, which is suitable for washing dishes and children playing with water balloons and water.I used the restroom on the park golf side, but there were a lot of long-legged spiders at the entrance anyway. The inside was Western style and relatively clean.The toilet in the administration building is clean and free of bugs, but it feels far away because you have to walk around a passageway.I also noticed that there were an unusually large number of flies.There are trees growing on the lake side, so you can only see the view from between the trees.If you want to see the lake, I think Car Site F is better.The passage for cars is quite narrow, so you should drive carefully.It is also difficult to understand how to get to the administration building.

This is a very well maintained campsite.There is also a hot spring next door, so you can relax. Day trip baths were available for 500 yen until 21:00. There is also a dog run, so please bring your pet with you.
