Mr. Gnu’s home is clean and cozy. We had the best home prepared meals in Hokkaido. The view of the countryside is fantastic. We stayed in the bunk bed room. There are two outdoor cats that our kids love to play with. Gnu-san and his wife are very warm and friendly hosts. We had a relaxing stay during our visit in August. I would recommend to anyone who wants to get away from busy city life.

Mr. GNU and his wife were wonderful! Excellent place and great view of the valley. Very clean! Outstanding meals, one of the best on our 5-week Hokkaido bicycle trip! We enjoyed their company and chatting with them at mealtime. It's a hidden gem! No idea as to why more people don't stay with them. Great value!Only drawback, was having to push our loaded bicycles up their gravel access road. But it was worth the effort!!

Excellent B&B. The owner speaks English very well and is very kind. Especially the delicious meals are super delicious. We came here once 7 years ago, and this time we visited Furano again and chose to stay here. It's well worth coming here.

Even though we were the only travelers that day, the food and drinks were not sloppy, the house was very clean, and the owner of the B&B was very nice, highly recommended. (It is recommended to refer to Google Maps for self-driving)

I am glad that I picked Mr. Gnu's lodge and stayed for 2 nights, the outlook of the house is fantastic, we can see the famous mountains in this area through the windows, and you can easily see clear sky at night full of stars and it is stunning if you come from urban city like me.We are assigned to a Japan style room with tatami, my son love the toy and comic room. Mr. Gnu's wife is a great cook and we enjoy the breakfast and dinner she cooked, the meal item change in 2 days and all of them are monthful dishes.Mr. Gnu and his wife are very friendly host, I would strongly recommend this lodge if you want to experience something out of the hotels.

Healthy, balanced and hearty delicious dishes, the boss and his wife sat next to each other and ate together, it was a very unforgettable experience. I'm so lucky to have found Mr. GNU, I want to pay a return visit!
