During our long trip to Hokkaido, we wanted to get fresh local vegetables and dairy products and cook them ourselves, so we found this inn with kitchen facilities, and the 4 of us, 3 generations (mother, daughter, and grandson), I stayed atThe interior design was designed by Kitano Jusaku Sekkei Co., Ltd., so the interior was filled with warmth from wood, and the furniture, cooking utensils, tableware, and everything else was full of taste, making it very comfortable.Our home had a loft. So, the kids were excited and happy, and I'm really glad we stayed.We ground our own beans and made coffee using the tea set provided in the room, and enjoyed it with snacks from a baked confectionery shop in Higashikawa Town.It was a relaxing and wonderful time.For breakfast, I was supposed to cook and eat the plenty of vegetables, milk, eggs, and bacon that were provided, and since there was a decent amount, I simmered tomatoes, zucchini, eggplant, broccoli, and bacon in a large pot. I had it made into ratatouille. The ingredients were good and it was very delicious! (Please note that it may be a bit much for those who don't cook)We bought ripe Furano melons at a roadside station during the drive, and we were able to cut them up and eat them all morning and evening.This was unique to an inn with a kitchen and refrigerator, and the melons were delicious.Dinner is not included, so our home is located within driving distance of Higashikawa Town, a wonderful hot spring facility called Kitoushi no Mori Kitoron, designed by Kengo Kuma, where we can also eat. I used it.There are many restaurants in Higashikawa town where you can take out delicious food, and if you ask the hotel, you can have it delivered to your room.Kou Shibasaki, who is environmentally friendly and is involved in environmental activities, stayed at this inn on his YouTube channel.It's a few minutes away from Asahikawa Airport and Asahiyama Zoo, so it's also a recommended accommodation for visiting Asahiyama Zoo.
