Check-in was convenient, the process was smooth, the environment was spacious, clean and sanitary, and the landlord responded quickly. Unfortunately, he could not help solve the problem. The problem was that there was no hot water supply in the bathroom at minus 8 degrees. When I contacted the landlord, he only told me how to turn on and off the hot water. Reply, the problem has not been solved. Another thing worth paying attention to is that when I went to the toilet in the early hours of the night, there was a foreign object disturbing me. When my friend was going to the toilet alone, something pulled on the toilet door several times. Nothing could be seen when he opened the door. At that time, everyone in the house was asleep.

Baodong B&B is located near Takayama Old Street, 5 minutes' walk from Miyagawa Morning Market. It has four rooms, a large bar kitchen, where you can cook your own food, complete with utensils, dishes, stoves, refrigerators, and a welcome guest Drinks, very high quality accommodation.

I found this inn on the internet and visited Takayama City for the first time in 25 years. It was a lovely home just like the photo. You can also rent out the whole building plus a renovated warehouse. Although I didn't use it there, there was also an irori hearth and it was set up to roast rice cakes. I was happy that there were plenty of welcome drinks in the fridge, from juice to alcohol and beer.The kitchen is designed like a sushi restaurant, so it's fun to chat with people sitting at the counter while cooking. The bath only has a shower, so we lent the bath at Watt Hotel for free and the bath was great. I went with 6 women, and since 2 women had to sleep in a double bed, it would have been better if each person had their own futon or bed. I wish I had mentioned this when making the reservation. Everywhere was clean and I felt comfortable. Since it is located in the old townscape, it was convenient to go to the morning market etc. My favorite book says, ``Having both hands full of work is like chasing the wind; instead, having one hand full of work is like chasing the wind. It's better to be satisfied.''I came back home feeling satisfied both in mind and body through this inn and the warm people of Takayama City.
