The best accommodation experience on our trip to Japan. Traditional family-run accommodation. The owners are super friendly, attentive and polite, they make you feel at home. They don't speak English, but with the mobile translator you understand them wonderfully. They take you in their car to the station. Authentic ryokan-style rooms with tatami floors, futon beds on the floor, and sliding wood and paper doors. Very comfortable and pretty. They give you a kimono for the entire season and slippers. The bathrooms are common, separate toilet area and on the other hand the showers. Everything very clean. The showers are onsen style, they are also common, they are separated by gender and they have a very large bathtub with very hot water, which leaves you in heaven, ideal after a long day of walking. We had a problem with the luggage shipping company and they helped us resolve it. Breakfast looked wonderful. Very good value for money. Well located, 10 minutes walk from the train and bus station. 15 minutes walk from the Takayama shopping area. Travel as a couple. Quiet area. Highly recommended if you are looking for something authentic and traditional.

Reallyy, nothing to say.. this place so far have the best memory i got on a hotel, ryokan. I felt like iam in an old Japanese movie. They give Kimano for wear and daily they clean it, they clean all rooms. Very warm feeling. Very friendly owners. Lady Tomiye and her husband is amazing owners. Breakfast was amazing, if you are not full you can keep eating. Everything about this place is unforgettable. I felt like home. And also close to the city :) with 10 minute of walk you can reach old town of Takayama

Nothing to say! The location is great. Close to the station and the city. The rooms are spacious. The bedding is comfortable. I spent some of the best nights of my stay in Japan there.I'm not talking about the kindness of the owners. Adorable! The ++: the hot bath prepared at the desired time and hot water always available for tea.

We slept here two nights and it was an unbeatable experience. The host does not speak any English, but with her cell phone and the translator communication was very easy. She is super nice, affectionate, attentive, educated... she makes you feel at home. The onsen is private, she notifies you when it is free for you to use.The ryokan has incredible charm, it is decorated in Japanese style. It seemed to us that it is an experience to repeat and that everyone should come here. The location is very good, it is a quiet area. The room is spacious and very warm (it was very cold). We recommend it 100%. Super experience, thanks for making us feel at home

Close to the station and in a traditional Japanese house setting, the host is very pleasant and attentive. We only stayed one night as we were just passing through but our stay was very pleasant. For other tourists, even if the host does not speak English, communication through the application is very good.
