Fine for 1 or 2 days if nothing else is available.A really old but nice authentic japanese house. 6 beds in a really small room. Luggages are kept at the reception outside/downstairs because there is no space in the dorm room. The streets around the hostel are REALLY beautiful.I would have no problem with the Hostel only these three:- Big cockroaches are climbing up on you ToT Happend with me on the 2nd day so I was glad it was time to leave.- The curtians are SO FREAKING LOUD. I woke up everytime when it was moved. I attached videos of it.- No space in the dorm room itself. Luggages are not in the same room with you (but it still felt safe because JAPAN is JAPAN)

I stayed at this hostel with a friend who came from overseas and had a very disappointing experience. I heard that you can rent bicycles at the hostel, so I trusted them and rented them, but in the end I was scammed. There were other companies' rental bicycles in front of the hostel, but the prices were high, so I decided to use the hostel's service.I was looking forward to riding a bicycle, so now I don't know why I decided to rent a beat-up bicycle, but the bicycle I rented was covered in rust, the brakes were worn out, and it was clearly in a state of poor maintenance. was. I was still excited about it, so I didn't worry about it and used it, but the screw suddenly came off while I was driving down the road, and my friend almost got into an accident.By law, it is prohibited to rent out a bicycle in a condition that could cause an accident, and the renter will be responsible. However, the owner didn't want to talk to me and charged me a huge amount of money. There was no contract and I felt the charges were unreasonable. The staff member was from Taiwan, and when I protested, he simply insisted that he had ridden the car before you did, and had no understanding at all. I don't understand what was "ok" because the tire was deflated before we got on and I asked for it to be re-inflated. When I reported it to them, they knew exactly where the damage was, even though I hadn't even told them where it was, and when I protested, they just said, ``I'll ask the manager,'' but in the end, the manager never showed up. The next day there was a sign on the door telling me the bill for the bike and telling me to "fix it myself." I was surprised that even though I was a guest, I was asked to go and fix it myself. In addition, I received a threat that if I didn't pay by the end of the day, I would raise the bill every day. I contacted AGODA, but they couldn't help me because I forgot to take a photo of the evidence before riding. Looking at other reviews, I see a lot of similar problems, and I suspect that they are purposely loosening parts of the bike. I was planning to consult a lawyer, but I ended up paying because I was stressed out every day and felt sorry for my friend from overseas. Cheap accommodation always has something to offer. I strongly recommend that you never use the services of this hostel.I stayed at this hostel with friends visiting from overseas, but it turned out to be a very disappointing experience. The hostel offers bicycle rentals, and trusting them, we decided to rent bikes. Unfortunately, we were scammed. There were rental bicycles from another company in front of the hostel, which we should have used, but they were expensive, so we opted for the hostel's service.I was excited about riding the bikes, and looking back, I don't know why I decided to rent such a shabby bike. The bike was rusted, and the brakes were completely worn out, clearly in a state of disrepair. Despite being excited , I didn't mind it at the time, but while riding on the road, a bolt suddenly came loose, and my friend narrowly avoided an accident.By law, it is prohibited to rent out bikes that are in such a condition that they might cause an accident, and the responsibility lies with the rental provider. However, the owner refused to discuss the issue and demanded a large amount of money. There was no written contract, and such a claim should not be allowed. The staff, who were from Taiwan, insisted that they had checked the bike and it was fine before we used it. This made no sense since I had asked them to refill the tire with air right before we rode it. When we reported the issue , the staff knew the exact location of the damage without us telling or showing them. When we protested, they only said they would ask the manager. In the end, the manager never appeared, and the next day there was a note on the door demanding the repair cost and instructing us to fix the bike ourselves. I was shocked by such an unheard-of demand from a hostel. Moreover, they threatened to increase the charge daily if we did not pay immediately. We contacted AGODA, but since we forgot to take photos as evidence before using the bikes, they couldn't help us. Other reviews also indicated similar issues, suggesting that this is a scam the bikes. They might intentionally loosen the parts. I intended to consult a lawyer, but involving the daily stress and feeling sorry for my friends who came from overseas made me pay in the end. Cheap accommodations always have issues. I strongly advise everyone not to use this hostel's services.

During the cherry blossom season, we slept in bunk beds because it was relatively cheap. The sound insulation is very poor. There were foreigners chatting all the time in the middle of the night. I didn't care at all. It’s so noisy, but it’s hard to sleep on the bunk beds. My little brother sleeps on the bottom bunk. The slightest movement in the upper bunk makes a lot of noiseThere are two toilets, one of which is super short...it might not be easy for people with long legs to use.Not a flush toiletThere are two bathrooms and the experience is not very good either.A safe is provided. It is made of wood and is not as big as expected.I feel like everything is terrible except that it’s a little cheaper. But the fact that you can start a group is worth recommendingYou can go to the nearby supermarket to buy something and cook it laterThere are bicycles for rent, but I rented a very worn-out bicycle. The brakes also make an unpleasant noise. Rent for 1,000 yen per day. When I arrived, I couldn't fit my suitcase into it.The suitcase is very difficult to take out. It is recommended to take out the frequently used items.

I wonder how all these good reviews came about? We paid €110 per night and what we got was a joke. We just left after one night. It's not a bad thing that the room is small, you can see that in the pictures, but the condition is really bad! The shared bathroom was somehow put together, it smells strange and wasn't that clean either. We are traveling around the world on a low budget and have really experienced a lot, but this is one of the top 3 worst accommodations ever.Just overpriced. For what we have experienced so far, this is accommodation for a maximum of €30, everything else is outrageous
