Such a great experience. Perfect accommodations with a spectacular view. The breakfast was delicious and was a great start to the day. Excellent location that makes it easy to explore or find a meal.

Two couples had a wonderful visit in 2019. Our hostess met us at the train station and dropped us at the house. She got us settled and oriented us to the city. The location is very central and there are lots of places to eat nearby. We were there for the spring festival and there was a festival float next door. The whole town is very walk-able. The apartment was very comfortable with a riverside view.

The highlight of our trip to Japan. We were met at the train station and taken to our lovely home right in the middle of the old town overlooking the river. Delicious breakfast was discreetly delivered to our doorstep every morning. The hosts were super friendly and knowledgeable. The guided bike tour they organized for us is highly recommended!

We stayed at Iori Miyagawa for 3 nights, March 2018. The house is an original home situated in a quiet street in the old district. As a traditional style home the facilities are basic but very adequate. Sleeping rooms furnished with comfortable futons were on the top floor accessed by narrow steep stairs which may be a consideration for the less mobile. Although during our stay temperatures dropped to -2 degrees the main rooms were comfortably heated. There is a small balcony off the main living area which overlooks the river and catches the afternoon sun. There is no TV which wasn't an issue for us. Breakfast was prepared fresh and delivered by 7am daily; it alternated daily between a Japanese style and Western style. Walking distance to major attractions, close proximity to some good restaurants. Our host was generous and most helpful; he picked us up at the station when we arrived and on our departure he dropped us back at station.

A very nice experience, the owner of the house is lovely, she offered to pick us up from a train station. The house is clean, a fully-equipped kitchen that can be cooked, has toiletries such as toothbrushes, razors, and even hair elastic. Have breakfast. There is a balcony on the river. Was perfect.

There are no words to describe our wonderful moment staying at Iori Miyagawa place. The place is stunning, rooms are all well decorated, host is the best, just a walking distance to all nice places around.
