We spent one night at Tunagian TABI-NE and I wish we could have stayed more.The apartment is a traditional Japanese house very well kept and super spacious especially for two people. It has two floors with the ground floor with the living room, kitchen and toilets and the first floor with the area dedicated to sleeping. It also has a lovely back garden and a private parking space.For the check-in you will have to get the keys at a location nearby but the staff is very helpful with their communication on the days before arrival to make sure everything is clarified. At the time of check in they were very welcoming and they gave us all the information we needed.We arrived by car and the road that leads to the apartment gets narrower but if you drive carefully there is no problem getting there.This was absolutely one of the best accommodations we had during our trip in Japan and I would recommend it 100%

The service and check in staff were amazing. The stay was good. The stairs however are a tripping hazard and could cause serious injury. My fiance fell down them because they are extremely slippery and steep with socks on. We had to go to the ER to confirm his foot wasn’t broken.They really need to add grip to tape to the stairs because I had problems with them as well. Absolutely do not book this location if you will need to go upstairs. You are risking your vacation in doing so

I'm staying with my dog😆 It's my first time staying in an old house and it's spacious and I was able to relax.However, it was a shame that there was no TV😵

I was able to spend a relaxing time with my family who had returned home and their pets. The road along the way is so narrow that it is difficult to get there with a large car. Kenrokuen can be reached in a short distance by climbing the steep slope called Yasaka.I thought it might be difficult to spend time in the middle of winter or midsummer because the washroom only had water and only a few rooms had air conditioning, but the plumbing was clean and the bath was especially comfortable. I still want to use it

Since we rented the whole house, we were able to relax.It would have been even better if the antique radio in the kitchen was playing.
