The living room has a view of a small garden, and the second floor is only for sleeping, but the large room on the second floor is large enough for five adult men. The advantage of this place is that you can rent an old private house at a relatively cheap price, but the disadvantage is that there is no permanent staff. There are no amenities compared to other basic hotels, but there is no toothbrush or toothpaste. Towels seem to be changed once a day around 11 o'clock or after lunch time. They don't clean it. We didn't even know, but if we asked them to clean the living room over the phone, they would do it. Also, the location is ambiguous. I think it will be a minus for those who consider transportation very important, but the bus stop is close, but the station is quite far. In particular, the lines connected to Kyoto Station are completely destroyed. We like to walk, so we only took a taxi and walked to the bus stop or station when we were carrying suitcases. Lastly, this house seems to be a lodging company that remodels old houses and uses them as lodgings.
