It's been a while since I last visited. I took my time in both the indoor and outdoor hot springs. I had dinner in my room and was very satisfied and full. Early in the morning, we had the venue meal, which included raw eggs, natto, and all-you-can-drink drinks. This is my favorite inn.

Tochigi actually has many hot springs.Kinugawa and Nikko are famous hot spring areas, but Nasu-Shiobara, where Umekawaso is located, is also a hot spring area.There are many hot spring inns along the river, and to be honest, this one is a little far from the center of the hot spring area.But that's good.Being far away allows you to completely forget about the hustle and bustle, which is important.■About reservationsCurrently, the website is being renovated, so reception is only available by phone.Good telephone response.■About the accommodationChildren are welcome, and guests from the age of 0 are welcome.Some children are making their hot spring debut, so they even lend out baby baths. It will be about two weeks until the leaves turn red. The room was a traditional tatami room, and the bedding was a futon. Perhaps because I had a special meal plan, I had a large amount of dinner and was able to enjoy small portions of various things. Since there were few guests, the open-air bath could only accommodate one or two people, so it was relaxing. Minus 1 star because there was no after-meal coffee in the morning or at night. Also, when I went in mid-October 2019, there were a lot of stink bugs in the room, so it might be a bit difficult for people who are not good with insects. 4 plus per person

I used it during the Obon holiday in August. The dinner we had in our room that night was satisfying both in quantity and taste. The draft beer served in the room was also great. The customer service from the staff was also very good. I would definitely use it again if I have the chance.

I used the hot springs for a day trip during the busy Obon holiday period. On the website, it says that the day trip is open from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, but since it was Obon, it was fully booked, so I was allowed to use it from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM.Although it is a little far from the hot spring town, I was left with a good impression of the very clean interior, baths, and changing rooms. Even though the receptionist was busy, she responded without making a bad face. I will be hiking in the mountains, so I would like to use it when I go to Shiobara again.

Both dinner and breakfast were very delicious. The staff's attentiveness was pleasant and the customer service was not pushy at all. If I had to complain about anything, the hair dryer in the room was broken and unusable, but that was the best.

I felt at home and was treated very kindly, so I was able to relax.

The private open-air bath was very nice. The room meal was also good.I chose a room where I could eat in my room.There's nothing around the inn, but the scenery is nice and I think it's perfect for those who want to relax.
