A little unreasonable for the price? The details...Good points・LocationGood location. I took an open-air bath in a room overlooking Lake Chuzenji, and it was quite nice.・General part of the guest roomIt's spacious and stylish. The bed is big and super fluffy. I realized that each and every one of the facilities and fixtures in the guest room was made from high-quality materials.·breakfastBreakfast was good. More about dinner later. What I was dissatisfied with・Customer service/dinnerThe staff's customer service is polite at first glance, but young staff members can be seen walking around the dinner venue chatting with each other, and they explain the dishes too quickly and seem unmotivated, giving the impression that they haven't been properly trained in the details. Also, our dinner was mixed up at first, but none of the staff noticed until I noticed it and pointed it out, which is usually a negative. There was no apology. (Although the plan was to taste and compare wagyu beef, it was usually on the dinner menu.)The appearance of the creative cuisine was luxurious, but with a few exceptions, the taste of most of the menu items did not match the appearance.・Details of the guest roomI went there with high expectations as it had just been renovated, but the rooms, even those with open-air baths, had many scratches on the furniture and doors, and small areas such as water stains on the faucets had not been properly cleaned. If this was a cheap hotel, I wouldn't have paid any attention to it, but considering it was a luxury hotel and had just been renovated, it was disappointing.・Details of hotel facilitiesSmokers should be careful as the smoking room is so cramped that it is difficult to fit more than 3 people and it is only on the first floor.I did not use the public bath, so I cannot evaluate it. There were two massage chairs near the entrance.I felt like there were better places to just eat good food and sleep comfortably.Overall, it was a somewhat disappointing accommodation, with little attention to detail. It's not that expensive, but it's not cheap either, so I guess it's not worth the price.

I visited here for a family member's birthday, but since I love traveling many times a year, I have stayed at various hotels and inns, but I never thought I would have such a terrible experience, and my fun trip was ruined. Ta. I no longer want to come to Lake Chuzenji to stay overnight. Please refer to reviews on various sites before making a reservation.I knew that there would be a two-part dining system and that time would be limited, so I made a reservation for the meal starting at 7pm.The meal was explained to me, I ordered a drink, and the drinks arrived and I started eating. It was 19:13 and I finished it in 4-5 minutes. The next dish was served at 19:25 and I finished it right away.I had to wait another 3-5 minutes and the food continued at that pace until the last one at 8:30pm. When asked about my order, I said it was fine, but my wife wanted to eat the chestnut rice towards the end, so I put it aside and ate the steak, but it was only until 9pm, so I looked at the time and felt like I was in a hurry. As I was proceeding with my meal, at 8:40 p.m., I had chestnut rice and steamed vegetables that I hadn't eaten a bite of yet, and the staff asked me if I could have them because the time was until 9 p.m., and I hadn't eaten a bite yet, so they still offered me dessert. It was lowered without even being used.Don't you think we're making fun of them even though the timing of the offer was bad and it took a long time? What kind of behavior is it when someone pays for a meal and then lowers the price of two items without allowing them to eat a single bite of the food they bought?I also stayed in room 407, but it was too dirty! !I didn't like the gap between the beds, so I moved them to put them together, and a used male contraceptive came out😡Please check and clean it carefully😤It's too badUsed on October 6thI'm sorry it was a terrible trip.

This is a wonderful hotel with a panoramic view of Lake Chuzenji. I stayed in a renovated room with a semi-open-air bath. The room is clean and spacious with a bathtub on the terrace and a feeling of openness. However, perhaps because it is located on the second floor, the fence behind the screen is high, so you cannot see the view from the room. However, if you go to the restaurant on the first floor, you can see Lake Chuzenji, and if you step outside, you can see the magnificent view of the lake, which is the best. There are view points such as a torii gate and a lake deck in front of the inn, and the sunsets and sunrises were beautiful. The large communal bath was compact, but it was nice because you could enjoy two types of hot springs and the water was warm enough to take a long bath. The hot spring in the room was comfortable as the bathtub was large and the water flowed freely. The food was delicious and I would like to stay here again.

A hotel in Nikko with a beautiful view of Lake Chuzenji and the red torii gate.I have been healed by the divine nature and Lake Chuzenji, which is loved as a summer resort. All rooms had views of Lake Chuzenji, and the views were beautiful both at dusk and in the morning. For bathing, you can enjoy two types of natural hot springs: sulfur springs from Oku-Nikko/Yumoto Onsen, and alkaline simple springs from Nikko Wanoshiro Onsen.I was happy that there were 3 types of drinks after bathing other than water, and the free massage machine was so good that I stayed for a long time. It's also great that the colored yukata is available in sizes up to 185cm. The slippers are clean and have a slipper bed.The meals are beautiful and healthy dishes that allow you to enjoy local seasonal ingredients, and you can enjoy 40 types of vegetables for breakfast and dinner. Both the rice and vegetables were very delicious. For breakfast, I had rice with rice and ochazuke with vegetable soup. The torii gate in the room view is Futarasan Shrine⛩️A 14-minute walk will take you to Futarasan Shrine Chugu Shrine, a power spot. Even in summer, it's cool and the breeze feels goodA walk around Lake Chuzenji is recommended.

The view from the room was good, and the room was clean and cute. Even though the space wasn't that big, it felt like the space was being used effectively rather than feeling small. The food was delicious, with lots of ingredients being used little by little. Alcoholic beverages such as wine were also abundant and delicious. Breakfast was a Japanese meal with a variety of ingredients arranged little by little, and the meal ended with ochazuke (ochazuke) with a gentle flavor of dashi stock. The hot spring was overall compact, but the open-air bath was the best! The facial wash and other soaps were also of high quality and plentiful.

On August 15, 2024, I stayed in a room on the fourth floor. You could see Lake Chuzenji from the window, and the room was clean and had just been renovated. The large public bath was also a hot spring, and the temperature was just right for the summer season.
