When my husband saw Gohoso shown on BS TV late at night, he said he absolutely wanted to go, so we reluctantly made a reservation on Friday and went with him.We arrived after climbing the mountain by car.I think it would be better to buy drinks etc. at a convenience store in town before going up the mountain. There is nothing around, to say the least. It is a four-story building with a bath on the first floor, a reception and dining area on the second floor, and rooms on the third and fourth floors. The room had a damp smell due to the dense vegetation in the mountains, but other than that there were no problems at all.The food is also pretty good.Dinner and breakfast were eaten in a relaxed manner in the dining area separated by noren curtains. There are 17 rooms, including private baths. For the first time in a while, I was able to relax in the hot water and forget about my busy daily life.Baths are rotated on a daily basis.I'm also happy about this. Apparently they throw away the hot water every day (though the lady thinks it's a waste).I was able to enjoy the natural hot spring water to the fullest, and it has become one of my repeat visits.Fresh flowers were quietly displayed here and there, which made me happy as I love flowers. The staff were also very attentive, which I appreciate. As you become a senior, large hotels, while lively, become increasingly troublesome. This is an inn suitable for seniors.

Thank you for your help in May. I think hot springs are a good option even if you are traveling by car from Tokyo. There is also an elevator, so even people like me who have trouble walking can use it. I thought the customer service and food were both perfect. It was my personal wish, but it was a shame that the baths closed at 10pm.

This inn is good. The cleaning is thorough and there is a sense of cleanliness. The bath is very nice. However, there are a lot of insects due to the season and location, but this can't be helped. I was soaking in the open-air bath while holding a fly swatter. The brown hot water is so pleasant that you feel like you can soak in it forever. The dining room is a simple private room where you can hear the voices next door. However, the food was delicious and I was so hooked that I didn't care. Even at this time of year, the mornings were cool enough to turn off the air conditioner and open the windows. I think I will come back to this inn where I can enjoy the scenery of each season.
