This is not an overnight stay. This is a review from a day trip bath. The quality of the spring is average. There are many good hot springs in the Kitsuregawa area, so it's not worth going out of your way to take a bath.

It has been selected as one of Japan's top three hot springs for beautiful skin, so it's worth a day trip. This is a former Kanpo inn, so the facilities are a few steps above. The highest quality bed will wash away the fatigue of your trip.

I chose this hotel because it allows pets, and I had previously stayed at Kamenoi Hotel in another prefecture.I was looking forward to it, but the following happened.- There was urine from the previous guest's dog on the sheets.・Miso soup is forgotten at meals and served after the meal.・I was using the toilet normally, but the toilet got clogged and flooded...I had to repair it. After that, even though there was still toilet paper and a smell, I couldn't change the room unless I requested it.Regarding the third one, the person in charge appeared and asked us to change to a better room. After that, even when I plugged in my smartphone's charging cord, it didn't work (I had it replaced), and the front desk told me in the wrong room, "We forgot to bring dessert, so could you bring it to your room now?" I haven't had any other bad experiences other than the one I received, but I honestly can't recommend it. If you have no choice but to use a pet-friendly hotel because there aren't many hotels around you, you need to be prepared to not be upset even if some problems occur.Originally, it seems that the hotel was acquired because Japan Post's accommodation business was in the red...but I felt it was a negative brand.By the way, many of the rooms do not have baths, so you will either have to use a large public bath or a family bath that requires a reservation for a fee.The plan always includes breakfast and dinner, but drinks for dinner are an additional charge. Dinner is already served on the table before the reservation time, so it is not suitable for people who are concerned about hygiene and dust. Also, the building is old, so you can hear noise from the hallway.

I stayed there with my dog. There are two lead hooks in the room. There is only one toilet sheet, and it is not changed. There was a roll, deodorizing spray, and cleaning spray. The entrance for dogs is an emergency exit, so there are only stairs. If you have a lot of luggage, it may be best for one person to check in at the front desk, carry the luggage, and then pick up the dog and the rest of the family from the room to the parking lot.The location of the dog run is difficult to find, and it takes about 5 minutes on foot. I was nervous because I had to pass through the ruins of what seemed to be an old facility before arriving. I was even more worried because there was no one there. lol. I would never go there even during the day if my husband wasn't there.

Available on weekdays in September.I thought it would be a bit unpleasant since the website said it was a "dog-friendly hotel," but since the entrance and building are separate, I didn't see any dogs anywhere other than in the parking lot. After checking in, you will receive a yukata and amenities. Please note that there are no shaving facilities in the bathroom. The lobby is spacious and comfortable. There was a room where children could play. The room this time is a Western-style room. The scenery is good. There are snacks available. The refrigerator has a freezing function. There is no bath. The toilet has been renovated and is clean. WiFi is good. I'm glad I got two keys. For cold water, use the water servers located on each floor. The hot spring is on the first floor and has an indoor bath, a lying bath, and an outdoor bath. The hot springs are of good quality and warm well. There is no sauna or cold bath. You can choose a starting time for dinner, and my family chose 7pm. Fried foods are brought out freshly prepared in a kaiseki style. Raw is 800 yen. All the dishes are delicious.Beer from the vending machine costs 400 yen. Tantan noodles service starts at 9pm. The noodles were half the usual amount, but since it was after dinner, I shared it with my wife. Authentic and delicious. In addition, refills are 500 yen.Morning hot springs start at 5am. There is no gender swapping.Breakfast is buffet from 7am. The Tochigi-style dishes and lemon milk are also delicious. It was nice to have coffee to take home.It was a good accommodation even though it was in a low price range. I was satisfied.
