Japanese style hotel, clean rooms, quiet, next door to Chuzenji. The autumn leaves are the best. This area is dotted with many embassies such as British and French embassies, and I think it is a more upscale tourist destination than Hakone.

I stayed for three days and had a pure Japanese breakfast every day. There were only slight changes in the meals every day. My husband didn’t like Japanese food very much, so he frowned a bit😁. I personally can accept it.We are a family of three on a hot spring bathing trip, and we made a list of all the options in Nikko. Small suggestions: There is a strong smell of cooking pots coming from the reception hall. I hope it can be improved. The hot spring house is very good. I like the real sulfur hot spring smell. The lobby serves a variety of ground coffee which is very good, iced drip coffee👍, cocktails, and juices are available until 19:00. As for tourists with itineraries, there are some restrictions, which is a pity and I hope the time can be extended.I give the service four stars, leaving one star for my next visit🤣Ah, yes, the hotel is only responsible for one-way transfer to Nikko Station. You need to make a reservation in advance. And after running for a day, it takes about 10 to 15 minutes to walk back to the hotel on a slope. If you have elders, please check with the store to see if they can pick you up.

Fifty shades of gray is the best way to describe the decor in this hotel. They told us when we arrived at our dinner would be at 7:45 which was too late for us since we’ve been riding a motorcycle all day and most places serve dinner between 530 and 630. I thought that was a bit arbitrary on their part. Hotel is definitely looking dated and worn and needs a remake. The location is great and it’s beautiful in the mountains by the lake, but looking at the businesses in the area that have been shuttered the town is obviously going through some economic distress.

When she said, ``I want to go to a hot spring inn with a kotatsu❣️,'' we decided to stay at Shikisai in Nikko. We made plans to spend some special time in the sunshine during Christmas time. This ryokan, located near Lake Chuzenji surrounded by natural beauty, was decorated with Christmas decorations and the friendly staff welcomed us warmly. A large white Christmas tree was proudly displayed in the lobby, and the twinkling lights twinkled beautifully like countless stars, making me feel as if my heart was slowly being released by the scenery. As soon as I checked in, I warmed up my cold body in the open-air bath. The hot spring was cloudy, and it was a pleasant hot spring with yukata dancing quietly. When she came back from the hot springs, she looked as beautiful as a rose wrapped in raindrops. As if to make up for the time we couldn't meet, we filled each other's feelings with a special time just the two of us. After a while, while sitting under the kotatsu, I looked out the window and noticed that Lake Chuzenji was spreading out between the trees and the snow-capped mountains in the background. Sitting down with her while drinking hot green tea and looking out at the scenery outside the window warmed my heart. When I headed to the lobby before dinner, there were several types of coffee lined up and I was able to enjoy an original blend. It was an unforgettable memory to make my own coffee with my girlfriend and enjoy each other's delicious coffee while sitting on the sofa while the illuminations decorated everywhere were shining brightly. For dinner, a mix of Japanese and Western cuisine was served in order. Each dish was beautifully presented, and the tableware was elegant and seasonal. For the appetizer, a colorful salad made with fresh local vegetables was served in a transparent glass bowl. Next, the salmon (?) sauce was beautifully arranged on the plate and looked appetizing. The main meat was gorgeously served on a ceramic plate, grilled beautifully, and had a fragrant aroma. The dessert featured beautiful sweets with a Christmas theme, and I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious meal with my girlfriend until the end.She was also a little disappointed that the open-air bath after dinner was not a private bath, but when we returned to the room and dimmed the lights, beautiful stars were shining. It was so beautiful to see her flushed face after bathing, and as soon as we got into the warm futon together, I was enveloped in her warmth, and after accepting my feelings for her, I fell asleep quietly. .The next morning, when I woke up, I saw her sleeping cutely next to me, and I felt so deeply in love with her that I quietly poured out my feelings for her. Afterwards, we warmed up in the open-air bath and enjoyed relaxing conversations at the kotatsu table in our room until we checked out. This trip deepened my bond with her and became a special memory that will remain in my heart. What should I do to free her, who has mixed feelings of not wanting to disrupt her everyday life and wanting to enjoy the present moment?I felt like I had received a very difficult Christmas present. did.

I stayed there from Monday (holiday) to Tuesday in May.The room had a semi-open-air bath, breakfast and dinner were included, and the dinner plan was an upgrade from basic kaiseki to special kaiseki. The location is on top of a mountain, so there's nothing there, but it was great because we came to a place where there was nothing. It's soothing to see monkeys up close 🐒The location of the shuttle bus is also near the station and easy to find.I was surprised as it was my first time on Irohazaka, but I was relieved that I was driving safely. There aren't many types of baths, but you can take a slow bath at a temperature that's not too hot. There are two types of open air and it is the bestThe rice was very delicious, but I didn't understand the explanation of the dishes very well, and the rice and miso soup didn't come out for breakfast. The madam next door told me about it, and I had to call a staff member to get the rice. And miso soup came out. Many of the staff members were foreigners, so their Japanese might be a little difficult, but I wanted them to do a good job of serving the food...Regarding other services, the front desk staff seemed indifferent and I didn't receive any hospitality. In terms of details, I was disappointed that I couldn't go out on the balcony because it was May, and that I couldn't use Wi-Fi.30,000 between the last day of the holidays and weekdays...Considering the service, I thought that around 25,000 yen would be appropriate.

Amazing quiet resort in the mountains. Our room had a large sunken outdoor bath (for 2) on a deck overlooking the forest. Food is amazing Japanese food- top shelf, fine dining. We were blown away by the food. Ignore any negative food reviews.

I stayed here for one night starting Friday! ! In these times of labor shortages and high prices, I'm grateful that 14,000 yen with two meals is affordable 😭 The room is a simple room with a futon bed without a bath, and we have a kaiseki course for small meals! (I was grateful for the smaller courses, as regular kaiseki meals can be painful if you end up eating too much.)I didn't have high expectations for the taste since it was a reasonably priced hotel, but contrary to my expectations, it had a delicate flavor and was very delicious! ! I'm very satisfied! !The bath was large and had a feeling of openness, and we even saw monkeys up close from the open-air bath! !Even after taking a bath, my body felt warm and felt great.I would like to stay again if I have a chance, thank you very much ☺️ (I only took the photo for breakfast)

The most ridiculous and stupid hotel I have ever been, my check in time is 2.30pm and I reach at 2.00pm, they request us to seat outside until 2.30pm. We are not allowed to even seat at the hotel lobby. I will never come back to this hotel anymore eventhough is free.

At check-in, I was told that if I made a reservation on Rakuten or Jalan and posted a review, I would receive a box of souvenir sweets, and that I would be able to post after midnight. I posted it too soon. When I check out, it takes a few days for the reviews to be reflected, but how can I prove that I posted them? When I asked about it, I was told that there was no way to confirm until it was reflected. So you can't get sweets as souvenirs? When I asked him, he said yes.I thought it was strange how they lured people in with sweets and only posted reviews. I thought about editing the review and posting it, but the hotel replied that it was not possible to edit reviews, so I was unable to do so.They even gave me a piece of paper with a QR code written on it and asked me to write a review, so I cooperated, but I was so frustrated that I had been deceived.
