Hoshifuruyado Seian

It's late, but I felt nostalgic and wanted to write a review of Seian, where I stayed 12 years ago and was very satisfied.I was living in Tokyo at the time, and my husband and I used it on the first day we went to Kyushu. I wasn't sure if I would be able to get there properly because there was no address on my navigation system, but there were signs on the street, so I was able to arrive more smoothly than I expected. It's located a little further back from the main street, so it's quiet and relaxing. The room wasn't very large, but it was enough for two people, and the building was new at the time and the inside of the room was very clean. I was looking forward to the open-air bath, and I could hear the soothing sound of the hot spring water coming from inside the room.I immediately enjoyed my first hot spring bath with the cold sake and edamame beans that were provided! I don't like hot water, but once I got used to the 40 degrees, it was just the right temperature. The hot spring felt a little slippery, and my skin became moist and supple. It was about a 20 minute walk to Yufuin Station, but the streets were lined with souvenir shops, so I was able to walk around without getting bored. Dinner was also as expected, with plenty of meat and vegetables. Each piece of meat was thick and large, melting in your mouth in no time, and was extremely delicious. You can enjoy it two ways: it's rich when eaten with beaten eggs, and it's refreshing when eaten with ponzu sauce. The vegetables were fresh and crunchy, and there was so much that I didn't lose weight no matter how much I ate it, but my husband and I did our best to finish it all! As he said, there was only hot pot and dessert, but my wife and I, who love hot pot, were very satisfied. Even after 12 years, I'm still talking to my husband about how delicious Seian's Bungo beef shabu-shabu was! I'll talk to you. During our stay, my husband, who doesn't usually take long baths, took 5 baths and I took 4 baths, and we were able to get a good night's rest. The breakfast had a lot of variety, and it was so cute and colorful that it was so delicious that I couldn't stop eating it.After the meal, I even received a set of germanium bath salts as a souvenir. Unfortunately it was raining, so I had an umbrella at the door so I wouldn't get wet while moving, and I told them in advance that my friend who lives in Oita would be coming to see me in the middle of the night, so I could just take a hot spring bath. I received a lot of attention to detail, including my father telling me the next morning that he wished I had received it. My father and his two mothers, everyone provided really pleasant customer service, and I thought it was okay to have such a luxurious hot spring and meal. I was able to spend as much time as I thought. It's been 12 years since then, and I haven't been able to visit him again, and my husband is now in a wheelchair, and now he's being cared for at my parents' home. If this were to happen, I regret that I should have visited Seian again while I was still healthy, but I will continue to do my best without giving up hope and hope that one day I can go to Seian again with my husband. Until then, I hope you and your parents are doing well and are looking forward to Bungo beef and hot springs.

It was a great opportunity to experience a ryokan for the first time. It was a convenient location for going into the city or taking a walk around Kinlin Lake. As I climbed up the mountain, there were more ryokans, so I felt like Seian Ryokan was close. Above all, the dinner and breakfast prepared by the owner were very delicious.

I am very satisfied with the individual jacuzzi and I am also very satisfied with the accommodation. When coming to Japan, it would be best not to include sukiyaki on the menu. I don’t think you can beat the sukiyaki you eat here. The meat quality was good and I enjoyed it very much. The salmon for breakfast is a bit salty.The location is near the lake, so it's easily accessible, and it's a great accommodation!

After checking in, playing in the hot spring, having dinner in the hot spring, waking up in the hot spring before going to bed, and going to the hot spring before checking out.Because it is a private hot spring, your skin will be smooth at any time.I like meat, so I enjoyed the kaiseki meal very much.The owner's cheerful and friendly response is also impressive.
