The accommodations are in a traditional Japanese style. The rooms are futons on tatami mats for sleeping. But there is a wide area where you can spread out your bag. In the room there is a TV, a table where you can eat and have snacks, a kettle, kumquat pie, and a tea set for making tea. I'll give it to you, but there won't be a refrigerator. What's good about this place is that there is an indoor and an outdoor onsen. It's beautiful and feels great when you soak in it, but there are opening and closing times as shown in the picture. As soon as Auntie goes in to check in, she looks at her passport and explains what's in the accommodation. She doesn't speak much English, but we can use the translation tool to talk with her. The accommodation takes about 15 minutes to walk from Yufuin Station to the accommodation. It's not too close, not too far.The accommodation was fine, but when I went up to check in I found 1 mysterious hair on the mattress, but I took the paper out and threw it away. The only downside that I found was that there was a mystery hair, that's all. Other than that, it was ok.

It’s a pretty good B&B. Those who want to experience Japanese family style can consider it. The only drawback is that the toilet and bathing area are outside the room. I think the breakfast is pretty good. It’s a traditional Japanese set meal. The portion is small but it’s sure to fill you up!

Used for accommodation in YufuinA cat will welcome you lolPeople who are used to staying in guesthouses will not find it difficult. It's painful for people who are used to inns...that's what it feels like.Breakfast was very satisfying. It's just the right amount and the taste is satisfying. It might be a little difficult to use the bath...The indoor bath is extremely hot and the outdoor bath is a bit lukewarm...However, since it is reserved for private use, it is nice to be able to soak in the bathtub without any hesitation.

I used it as a base for climbing Mt. Yufu. The location is convenient as it is close to Yufuin Station and there are many restaurants nearby. I'm also really happy that there's a convenience store nearby. In addition, Lake Kinrinko is within a 30-minute walk, so it was just the right distance to take a walk when I went to see the morning mist.I stayed alone, and although the rooms were showing their age, they were spacious and comfortable. The hot springs can be used for a wide range of purposes, from 10pm in the evening to 6am in the morning, so I soaked in as many as I could. The toilets and washrooms are shared, the facility as a whole is showing its age, and there was a cat near the entrance, so I can't recommend it to people who are concerned about these things. The price is also reasonable, so if I ever visit Yufuin, I would definitely stay here again.

The owner is relaxed and kind. The hot springs (a bit hot haha), the tatami room, the yukata, and the location were all great. Instead, the public restroom was a bit flawed, but I came on a weekday and there weren't many people! Above all, the accommodation was so good that I couldn't even think about it. I will go again next time.

The best part hereThere are two hot spring baths, indoor and outdoor, which can be used individually.Anyone can go in, lock the door, and use it.We only used it outdoors, but the water was so hot that we had to use a lot of cold water. The overall feel of the accommodation is like going to a grandmother’s house in the countryside. It is true that the facilities are old, but they are not dirty. It doesn't feel like a good hotel. However, I don't think it's bad to sleep in a tatami room for a day even if you experience a ryokan. The bedding was cozy because it was a goose blanket. The room was honestly cold. You can't do without a heater in the middle of winter. You have to bathe in the hot springs with one towel and shower the next day, so think about your plan in advance (the owner's grandmother only speaks Japanese, and I don't speak Japanese either, so I can't ask for more towels). There is no hair dryer in the room, and there is a weak breeze in the communal sink and indoor hot spring bath. Korean hair dryer's mild blast level.

It was a shame that check-in time was from 5pm.The room was a typical tatami room and was narrower than expected.I think it was because there was a large dining table. The outdoor onsen was too hot to go in.I tried a few times, but I just couldn't do it.There was an indoor bath, so I used that.I was disappointed with the slightly old accommodation and the half-sized hot spring, but the delicious breakfast relieved all my anger and left me with a satisfying memory of my stay.
