Located in the old town of Shimoda City, it is a perfect location for sightseeing in Shimoda. An elderly couple and their daughter are making ends meet. …

This is a lovely family owned ryokan, to experience an authentic japanese lifestyle at a very reasonable price. The hosts are so kind, really wonderful people! They don't speak english though, so you will need an online translation to communicate well. The room are perfect too, very comfortable, nicely set up with quality materials, quiet and very tidy, like the whole house. There is even a small onsen. Enjoy!

It was an inn in the center of the city that was fed by natural hot spring water.Reservations can only be made by phone(It doesn't seem to be listed on reservation sites etc.)When I visited in the evening, was the owner? The old man smiled and talked to me.When I was shown to my room, there were two mattresses stacked on top of each other, and the room was large enough for one person to use.Yukata, towels, toothbrushes, and Wi-Fi are also provided, so it doesn't seem to be a problem if you stay overnight. The bath was also very comfortable with hot springs flowing directly from the source. The downside was that there was no shower in the bathroom...It was very convenient, so I would definitely stay here again.Bathing hours: Until 11pm, morning bath availableLocking time: until 0:00Check-in: 15:00~Check-out: ~10amAccommodation fee: 5,000 yen + entrance fee 130 yen

This is an old-fashioned inn. It seems that it has been an inn for over 70 years. Above all, the hot springs are wonderful. Recommended for those who like hot springs

I always stay here on my way back from fishing in Kozushima. The building is old but well maintained and clean. The hot spring bath is the pride of the inn, and you can bathe in it even in the morning. The price is low as you can only stay without meals and no meals are included.

Plan for staying overnight only. I forgot to make a reservation for an inn and searched in a hurry on the day of the trip, but all the reservation sites were gone, so I googled the map and called, and somehow a room was available. thank you!
