The inn is reminiscent of a Scandinavian log house cottage, with the warmth of wood, a fireplace, and a view of the ocean from the dining room.I stayed there for the first time in 8 years, and it was still as comfortable as ever.Thank you for accommodating my late check-in.This time I had a late check-in, so I had a breakfast-only plan, but I can't forget the fresh seafood I had for dinner when I stayed there 8 years ago, so next time I'd like to ask for a plan that includes dinner. I think that I want to do it!

I was on a family trip and when I casually looked into it, I found a lodge that looked interesting, so I made a reservation.My impressions were that the equipment in the building was a little old, but overall I was very satisfied.The main dish is fish, but the volume and taste are lacking.I had a toddler with me, so I made a reservation without having any food provided, but I am grateful that they kindly prepared it for me.Just like other reviewers, it was a lodge where you could really feel the kindness of the owner!I'll come back later!

First of all, the owner is very kind.First of all, the bed in the room is huge!The bath is also a rock bath and the facilities are a little old, but there is no problem.In my personal opinion, all the food was the best I've ever had at different hotels.Also, the appearance is wonderful. The interior is very nice with a fireplace.Oh, and SoftBank's radio waves pass through, so that's good too.It was a pension that I would want to stay at again and again.If you are coming by train, please drive the bus vigorously.If you follow the directions on Google Maps, you will be guided along a mountain path. (If you want to strengthen your legs and hips, proceed in the opposite direction)

This is a pension type inn in Shimoda. It is a wooden lodge, and the second floor is the lobby and living room, where you can enjoy a fireplace and meals. There is a private bath that goes down from the second floor to the first floor, but there are many day trip hot springs in Shimoda, so you can also use them. The high point is that the room was spacious and provided with a kotatsu (Japanese kotatsu), making it very warm to use, and that I was able to sleep comfortably even in the winter without feeling dry, probably because of the wooden structure. The owner is very courteous and will accommodate your breakfast time if you ask.
