I used it as a course to eat all the delicious food. There is a wide variety of fresh seasonal sashimi including kingfish, horse mackerel, bonito, tuna, yellowtail, and mutsu. The spiny lobster sashimi, boiled kinme, and local mozuku vinegar are also delicious. Furthermore, the local specialty Ikenda-ni miso hotpot has a gentle flavor with lots of fish, crab, and other ingredients. It also comes with grilled turban shells, tempura, steamed egg custard, and simmered dishes to fill your stomach. There are many shared boats in Susaki, and I heard that many of them are related to each other. It's probably sourced from there. The fish is very fresh. The inn is very clean, and the hostess and other staff are very attentive.I found an inn that I will definitely visit again.

The food is delicious, the view is beautiful, the hot springs are piping hot, and the inn has a homely atmosphere. I can recommend it with good value for money. However, it is located at the top of the stairs and is not suitable for people with weak legs.★Good points・The food is good (the quantity is not large, but it is home-cooked food)・Good view from the room・Accommodation fee is cheap (20,000 yen for two people including beer juice)・The young landlady and landlady are pleasant.・In-room meal・The bath (hot spring) is reserved for private use (about 4 to 5 people at a time)・He made me coffee in the morning.★Not-so-good points・It is located at the top of the stairs. It's quite tough. If you are not confident in your legs and hips, it is better to stop.・Drinks are not available, so it is better to buy them in advance.・The toilet was retrofitted with a Western-style washlet, so the legroom is narrow.★Others・Each person comes with a small piece of boiled fish.・There are two baths, but depending on the number of guests, there may be only one.・I had a very hot bath, so I made it lukewarm with water. I diluted it quite a bit, so the hot spring ingredients may have been diluted.・The parking lot is at the port, so be careful with salt on windy days.・The toilet is shared and has a washlet.・I will raise and lower the futon myself.*Prices are as of March 2024

Excellent value for money accommodation with the best food・Anyway, dinner is delicious. The sashimi is extremely fresh. You can eat spiny lobster sashimi while you can still move your beard and limbs. (The inedible heads appear in the miso soup the next day.) The boiled red sea bream and homemade pickles are delicious and filling.・Room meals. The food will be delivered to your room, so you can eat without worrying. You will be responsible for serving the meals yourself.- Latest plumbing equipment. The sensor-based toilets and sinks are also easy to use. The toilets and baths are shared, but there are two (two toilets for men and women), so it's never crowded.・The landlady of the inn. It's kind and makes you feel comfortable. If you don't mind the stairs leading up to the inn, raising and lowering your futon, or having meals served, you should definitely stay here.

It is located in front of the sea turtle and is on a hill, so the room has a good view.Dinner is quite voluminous, so some people may need to leave some left over.We ate everything without leaving anything behind.

I think the location may be a bit tough for people with weak legs, but the food is simply the best!It was so delicious that 5 stars wasn't enough! ! !The hot spring seems to be reserved for private use (if it's empty, you're welcome to enter), but after 10pm, the owner's house seems to use it, so please come in by 10pm.The room was clean and perfect.I was told that I had to draw and take away the futon and take out the food myself, but in order to maintain this quality, I had to do everything myself! !I didn't care because it felt likeBy the way, it seems like you can park at any vacant spot along the port where there are a lot of cars parked.I'll come back later! !

This time I stayed at Hamaya for one night for surfing. (Night snack only plan)It was one of the most impressive guesthouses I've ever stayed at♡The people at the guesthouse were very kind and welcoming. To get to the parking lot, you have to park your car at the fishing port in Susaki and climb a slope and stairs to get to Hamaya, but once you get to the top of the slope there is a gondola that will carry your luggage. The room was a spacious Japanese-style room, clean, and had a view of the ocean °・*:.. .☆There was no refrigerator in the room, but the drinks I bought were put in Hamaya's refrigerator. The dinner I was looking forward to wasThere were many dishes such as sashimi, boiled fish, rice, miso soup, chawanmushi, etc., and all of them were delicious! The hot springs were free-flowing, and I adjusted the temperature by turning on the water and slowly entering the bath.Hamaya is a repeat visit and I want to go again next time! Used for one night on the weekend. We stayed for 2 people, and the room was spacious and had a sea view. The names of each room are Oshima, Shikine, and so on.The main meal was very delicious. The stew was made with rockfish, but the rice progressed.Seasoning.Since I had declared in advance that I could not eat sashimi, they went out of their way to prepare a different dish for me. However, even if there is no substitute, the amount is too satisfying. And the rice was delicious!!The staff were friendly and I was very satisfied with my one night stay.I think each person has their own preferences, but I would like to use it myself if I have the chance next time. But the stairsIt's tough.

I heard that Oishinbo Hamanabe (kendani miso) was available at a guesthouse in Shimoda, so I decided to stay there.Room: 4 pointsThe view from the window is good as it is located on a hill. No WiFi. The futon would have been better if it had a more comfortable mattress.Cleanliness: 5 pointsI'm glad it was well cleaned.Bath: 4.5 pointsThe hot springs that flow straight from the source are quite hot. If you don't like hot water, we recommend adding water to lower the temperature. You can relax for a while after taking a bath in the hot springs. Unfortunately, there is no open-air bath as it is only an indoor bath.Cooking (dinner): 6 points (5.5 points if you subtract 0.5 points for Ikendani miso)First of all, the platter mainly consists of golden sea bream, and the golden sea bream sashimi is fatty and delicious! The huge lobster sashimi and miso soup are also delicious! The quality of the dishes, such as boiled rockfish, butter-grilled turban shells, and steamed egg custard, is impeccable! Although seafood dominates the menu, the meat and potatoes stand out, and the sweetness and seasoning of the vegetables make this dish stand out. Of course, it goes without saying that freshly cooked rice is delicious. In addition, since the amount of Ikendani miso was large, I decided to use it for breakfast the next day.Cooking (breakfast): 4.5 points (5 points if you add 0.5 points for Ikendani miso)I got excited when I was given Ikendani Miso for breakfast, which I wasn't able to eat the day before. Kendani miso seasoned with homemade miso is the best side dish for rice! The other side dishes, such as the standard dried fish and simmered hijiki, are consistently delicious.Customer service/service: 4 pointsIt's a self-styled style where we prepare meals and put up and take down the futon ourselves, but I think it's nice to do this sometimes. Customer service was minimal and I didn't have to worry too much about it, so I felt at ease. I wanted a refrigerator in the room...Recommended for people who want to relax and eat delicious food away from the city. However, be aware that you have to climb 89 steps to reach the inn, which can be quite difficult for people who don't regularly exercise. I was pretty tough...

The long stairs to the inn were good exercise, and the food was so delicious that I couldn't finish it all.
