I went there with high expectations as it is a long-established inn that has been around since the Meiji era, but the result was quite a bit disappointing. First of all, I couldn't feel the staff's "hospitality". I'm not saying anything about it, but I felt that everything was according to the manual, nothing more, nothing less. Speaking of dining in a private room, the hearing is good, but it was clearly a room that had previously been used for employees and was being repurposed as a dining area, so it was a bit disappointing. Isn't it too small to have only one bath towel provided in the room? Also, the drink bar in the lobby is disappointing. I wish they would at least offer beer. The location was excellent and the view from the room was wonderful. Another negative point was that the manners of the children of the family guests were the worst. (It's not the hotel's problem, but) I don't think there will be a second time.

I made a reservation on Jalan.Bettei Rokka / River front Japanese-style room with open-air bath [Private dining room + Dinner "Kiwami course"] Plan * "Bettei Rokka 1st floor suite"I stayed on a plan called. It was a little expensive since it was on Friday and Saturday during the Obon holiday, but I chose it because I wanted to take a break with a friend I've known for many years.■Good points・Room is spacious and good・The room was on the edge and was separated, so it was quiet.・The rice was delicious and plentiful (the eel was delicious)・Enter the hot spring anytime・You can see the river from the hot spring in your room■I felt regretful・There are no places nearby to go for walks, so you need to travel by car.-Meals were not served in the room, so I had to move to the venue.-Although the dining halls are separated by partitions, there is no soundproofing. Since it was Obon, children's voices could be heard from everywhere, so it was a bit distracting during the meal.・Welcome drinks are plentiful, including alcoholic drinks, but I felt like there were so many people that I couldn't relax. The reason for the 5 stars is that the best part was that I was able to ``somehow'' take a bath in the hot springs attached to the separate room and ``just stare at the river.'' The large public bath also had a view of the river, which I enjoyed from the morning. Even after eating, the futon was not given to me, so I was able to lounge around and rest until the last minute of check-out at 11am. It's a bit expensive at over 40,000 yen per person per night, but I would like to come again someday if I have the chance. In addition, I felt that the customer service needed to be ``a little more relaxed and calm''. I'm motivated, I want to do something, or I have to do something, but I feel like that feeling is a little too strong. I wanted something a little more relaxed.

2024.8It has become a favorite accommodation for me and my elderly mother. This time, we have a special course (rice course in the middle) with a semi-open-air bath. The bath has hot spring water, the meals are in private rooms, and the rooms and meals are very close together. The large communal bath is nice, but the ultimate luxury is soaking in the hot springs in your room. The view of the Hoki River is so pleasant that you will never get tired of it no matter how many times you visit.2023.9Last time I stayed in a room with an open-air bath and dinner on the Kiwami course, and it was very good. This time I chose a standard room and basic course. This course was perfect for our family. The bathroom is very well maintained. The morning was almost reserved for us and we were able to relax. That didn't happen at night, but in the morning it took a while for the hot water to come out of the shower. The indoor bath is hot and the outdoor bath is just right, so most people around the same time went to the outdoor bath. I thought it would be nice if the hot spring temperature in the indoor bath was a little lower.I could really feel the hospitality of the staff. I want to go again!

The large public bath and open-air bath with a close view of the valley soothed your tiredness. I went during the Obon holiday, but I think the best time is during the autumn leaves.

A short summer vacation. I enjoyed the hot springs slowly. The room also had a semi-open-air bath, which I was able to enjoy with my children. They prepared food and accommodated my child's allergies, making it a comfortable stay.

I stayed in a room with an open-air bath, and on the other side of the large glass window was the river and green mountains, and as long as it was refreshing, I soaked in the hot spring many times with the sound of the river flowing and the nature of the mountains in front of me. We had delicious Japanese food for both dinner and breakfast in a private room.

It's the best accommodation in all respects. The hot springs are 100% sourced from the source, and the food is delicious. You can also get gibier by special order. Bone sake made from rockfish or sweetfish is also a good choice. In addition, you can see the mountain stream from the guest room, and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and hear the pleasant sounds of birds chirping. The outdoor lounge is a very comfortable space.

I stayed here in March 2023 to celebrate my daughter's birthday.Since it was March, there were dolls decorated in the lobby. Also, from the large windows in the lobby, the view of the Hoki River and the rocky mountains on the opposite bank was so beautiful that, unfortunately, it was a cloudy day, but the scenery looked like an ink painting. The room was a Yamasomari room with an open-air bath along the river. The room had a bed and tatami mats with futons, so even a family of four could use it comfortably and comfortably. The open-air bath in the room was a little hot, but it was still cold in Nasushiobara in late March, so the hot water was just right. While listening to the sound of the clear river and the chirping of wild birds, I took a leisurely soak in the hot springs and felt refreshed both physically and mentally. There was an indoor bath and an open-air bath in the large public bath, but it wasn't crowded and I was able to relax and enjoy it with my daughter.Meals were served in the room, so it was safe even with elementary school children. The food was very delicious, and I also received a sake set of local sake, which was a great choice.I knew that Tochigi's fruits are delicious, but the rice and sake are also really delicious!I had asked for a birthday cake, and it was also very delicious. My daughter was also very happy with the dessert message plate. The breakfast was enough to fill me up, so I regret to leave it behind. The next day, it was very sunny from the morning, and I was able to enjoy a morning bath while looking at the beautiful sunrise and Hoki River.I'm sure it's a beautiful sight during the season of fresh greenery and autumn leaves. All of the staff at the inn were kind and gentle.I'm looking forward to the day when I can go on a family trip again.
