The view from the lobby and open-air bath was great. The windows in the room are so high that you can't sit and look at the scenery, but the lobby has the best view. The scenery is nice, but the biggest regret is that there is no hot spring. There are no menus for meals, and the main solid fuel is lit at the start, and the meal is finished in about an hour. Most people finish in about an hour, so it's not suitable for people who want to enjoy drinks and food slowly.I had high expectations for the food as it had good reviews, but I think the food needed a little more effort. The shabu-shabu soup stock is delicious, but I wonder if they use chemical seasonings. If it's not a hot spring, I personally think they should at least try a little harder with their meals. What each person wants in an inn is different, but it seems like our family won't have repeat stays. It was October and the nights were cold, and I woke up many times because of the cold. I wanted something else to hang it on.The landlady had been coughing since the morning, and when she started coughing during the checkout, the landlady appeared to cover her mouth with her hand.I was sorry that I didn't have a mask with me, but I thought it was quite rude behavior.I wonder if they were worried about mycoplasma...If that's the case, I wish they would always wear a mask. The customer service is minimal, so I think it's good for people who can afford it or are looking for value for money. After eating, the futon was spread out in the alcove in the direction that my feet were facing. The accommodation felt chaotic in many ways.

Visited for a day trip to the hot springs. There is one indoor bath and one outdoor bath, and there is only one washing area for three people. It can be difficult to take a relaxing soak during busy times. The open-air bath along the river looks great during the autumn leaves season, when you can enjoy the view of the trees. I would like to go again when the time is right.

This was my first time using it in several years. It's a very nice inn. The food is delicious and the people are very considerate. This time I took my grandson with me, and I would be happy if I could go to Shiki Otori as my grandson grows up. Thank you very much for this time.

We were able to enjoy the magnificent view of the Kinugawa River from both our room and the lobby. It had a calm atmosphere and I was able to really relax. The meals were elaborately prepared and all were delicious. In particular, I wanted to feed my parents the fried onions I had for breakfast.I don't think there was an elevator, but the staff carried my luggage to my room, which was helpful. Finally, after checking out, I was able to have coffee in the lobby overlooking the Kinugawa River, and it was a truly wonderful stay. The staff were also very kind.Anyway, the room and the view are great. I would like to use it again.

When I was looking for a small inn, I came across Shiki Otori.6 rooms, small amounts of food, meals in private roomsAll my hopes were met.Although the bath is not a hot spring, I was able to take a relaxing bath (indoor bath and open-air bath). The meal was a small course, but I couldn't finish it all. I left a little bit...Complete breakfast!Homemade dressing is delicious!I especially liked the curry-flavored dressing and asked if I could purchase it...Since they are handmade, I was able to purchase 3 of them after checking the situation (*^^*)It was a quiet inn where you could hear the sound of trains running and birds chirping. The proprietress and staff were friendly and I was able to enjoy my time at a leisurely pace.Shiki Otori is a place you want to visit in all seasons! !

I've visited several times. This time, there were 16 people, including my juniors from my active days. After playing golf at Kinugawa Country Club. This is a homely inn. The hostess's reception and personality are the best. The owner and the outside staff too 👊😆🎵The Kinugawa River flows below the room and the location is good. There are many meals that I cannot usually eat, but this time I was able to eat most of them❗️I am planning to visit again ☀️🏌️😀

Used for day trip bathing. It was reserved at around 16:00.There are two types of baths, an indoor bath and an open-air bath, so it's a bit small, but it's not a problem because it's extremely reasonable in the first place. The view of the Kinugawa River from the open air is quite beautiful, and the scenery makes you want to stare at it for a long time. You can see a different look at night or during the autumn leaves season.

It was my first time using it. From the entrance, we were welcomed with a handmade feel, and the key chain covers, tapestries, and ornaments that were handmade by our customers made us feel like we were visiting our nostalgic grandma's house. For the meal, I had the main course of yuba, so I was able to enjoy a variety of flavors and it was great.Even though I'm not good at Japanese sake, I was happy to try some of the wines - red, white, and rosé.The bath is also used for relaxing, so it's understandable that regular customers come here.I'm thinking of making this my regular accommodation in the future.

It wasn't flashy by any means, but the interior and furnishings had a sense of unity and elegance, and it was clean, and it was a good inn where you could feel the hospitality in every detail.
