Staying at this ryoken was by far one of the best, most pleasent, and relaxing parts of our trip. It is a choice I would make over and over again. I had difficulty waiting until we left to write a review because of how impressive everything was. From the food to the service everything was exceptional. Get the dinner if you are able. It is so worth it. The portions and quality of the food was spectacular and you get to try so many of the local specialties. The onsen was dreamy and is open most of the day. One day I woke up at 5:30am when they open it for the day and I cant think of a better way to start the day. They took amazing care of us and were so kind, thoughtful, and helpful. Though there is some distance the walk isnt that far, maybe 8 minutes if that, there is a close by walking tunnel that makes it easy to connect into town, and they have a shuttle during the day to take you into the area. Anyone coming to kinosaki should strongly consider staying here. Thank you to the wonderful staff that gave us such an awesome experience and we will return!!!

Once you step through the entrance, the interior is comfortable with tatami flooring (except for a few areas) and you don't even have to change into slippers! There is a garden in the middle of the site, and the guest rooms are arranged around it, with a view of the courtyard from every room.At night, ``Noh dance'' is projected on the wooden wall in front of the garden using project mapping. The inn is quiet, there is an open-air bath, the breakfast and evening meals are satisfying, and the staff is friendly.I was very satisfied with the accommodation provided by Mr.

Very nice ryokan. The property features spacious Japanese rooms and an outdoor onsen. Kaiseki meals are very good. When you check in, you will be given a voucher to enjoy the city's 7 different onsen (6 because the Satono Yu Onsen is closed for an indefinite period). A shuttle can take you into town. Big plus, when you leave we will take you by shuttle to the station. Establishment a little far from the city center.

It's a little far from the area where the public baths are, but it wasn't a problem because they pick you up and pick you up between 4pm and 10pm. It was about a 5-10 minute walk. All the staff were very nice, and when I asked about the outdoor baths, they were helpful and helpful. The bath itself at the ryokan was rather small, but apparently there is a rule that it cannot be made larger in order to maintain the outdoor bath. I was really happy that the hair dryer was refurbished.I was able to have a comfortable time relaxing in the lounge and looking out at the beautiful courtyard.I ended up with more food than I could eat (I think this is the case with any ryokan), so it would be nice if there was a plan with smaller portions. It was nice to be able to have a relaxing meal in a private room.

This place is very good, the people who work there are very friendly and it has a very good onsen. If you ask them if there is a shortcut to the hotel they will tell you important information.

Rooms are very spacious. I really liked the design of the interior and the hotel onsen. The hotel onsen has really weird opening times, it closes at 9.30 am, and the sauna is strangely only open in the evenings. However, the food was really quite bad. Practically inedible. Breakfast was a real disaster. I stayed in other ryokans, including one in Kinosaki Onseb and had much much better food. I wouldn’t come back.

A very leisurely Japanese-style hot spring house with perfect service. Not only is there a vehicle to connect to the nine hot springs, but you can also choose to borrow electric bicycles from the hotel to wander around.

We had a great one night stay at this ryokan. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Most of the staff at the front desk communicated well in English. The room was very spacious for 2 people. The whole place feels a bit old, but in a cozy way. There was shampoo, conditioner, face/hand soap, hairdryer, toothbrush with a little toothpaste, little hair brush, razor, and free water and beer (3 bottles of each) in the fridge. The staff was eager for us to use the shuttle bus (also free) to the town, and offered this every time we went out. The shuttle bus service makes up for the fact that the ryokan is a bit far from town (a 15 minutes walk or so, which was a bit much on a very warm and humid summer’s day). The bus acts much like a taxi and you can call to be picked up at selected locations around the town between 4pm and 10pm. We really enjoyed our stay here and would love to come back. We did not have time to try the ryokan’s onsen this time. We tried some of the public onsens in the town and walked there in the yukata from the ryokan, and used their day pass to the onsens. Both the onsens and the ryokan is tattoo friendly!
