It's not new, but it's kept clean. There is no shower in the large room, but there is a large bath.I would like the toilet in the room to have a washlet. If I come to Ako, I would like to stay here again.

I stayed here for a youth baseball training camp.It was nice to have a large hall where you can play table tennis and badminton, which both children and adults can enjoy. There was also a manga in front of the elevator on the fourth floor, which I used.I think it would have been better if the men's and women's baths were swapped in the large public bath. It's a pity that there is no sauna. There was also a room for recreation, which was very nice. I used it.It was summer time, and we received a lot of ice to use in ice packs.thank you.It would have been nice to have a buffet for rice. It's good enough for eating.

I can't say it's bad overall though. The food is delicious at a Japanese restaurant and not cheap. The boiled fish came out towards the end.Breakfast includes Japanese bento, rice, and bread. It's delicious. The interior is quite old compared to the exterior. The hallways are not clean and smelly. The room is even dirtier. The carpet was especially dirty and there were cigarette burn marks all over the place even though smoking was not allowed. The smell is also of cigarettes and mold. It's damaged and torn everywhere. For some reason, my feet are itchy...My slippers are a must.I was itchy at night and couldn't sleep.I didn't want to change my clothes for the next day until the last minute! It's rare that I don't want to get my clothes or bare feet on the carpet this much.I'm not insulting you in any way, it's a fact.I don't think everyone is doing their best considering how old it is...

A solo summer drive trip to the Banshu Ako Castle ruins...The whole thing is undeniably old, but that doesn't mean it's bad.In order to reduce usage fees, it is a win-win situation for both customers and hotels.I think 15,000 yen for 3 nights and 4 days for 1 person is reasonable. The location next to the Ako Castle ruins is also good...Every morning, I take a walk and explore the Ako Castle ruins and town. It's nice to be able to go around the station from the castle town in just an hour. After your walk, you can relax by stretching your arms and legs in the large public bath. After taking a bath, I slept until noon and enjoyed Ako's specialty "Negikoro" and "Horumon Yaki" for lunch.Grab a beer during the day...it's within walking distanceThere are many famous local restaurants, so you can visit them on different days and nights. After eating a lot and sweating, I returned to the hotel and took a bath...The hotel's service was just right, with a feeling of neglect.

I ate at the Japanese restaurant on the first floor, and it was a great value considering the store layout, the quality of the staff, and the quantity and taste of the food. All the food was delicious and I think the alcohol was cheap considering the location of the restaurant.

It was a non-smoking room, but it smelled like resin. When I talked to the front desk, I was told that they had Febreze, so I used it a lot, and it seemed to be a little better. The other rooms were fine, so some rooms were a letdown. As a hotel, this facility may be exceptional for the price of a business hotel. It came with ramen for a late night snack, so the calories were crazy.
