It's a convenient weekday (the day before a holiday), it's near the downtown area of Arima Onsen (very close to Kin no Yu), it's relatively cheap, the bath at the inn uses Kinsen Ginsen water, there's an open-air bath, and there's free parking. Since it was very last minute, there weren't many accommodations that came up in the search.I looked it up on Rakuten and found that the hotel directly offered the best rate guarantee, so I made a reservation directly.Since my husband's birthday was coming up, we also went on a celebratory trip, so we had a celebratory "Osekihan" for dinner.We also received one common ticket for Kin-no-Yu and Gin-no-Yu (not just one ticket for each person!)There is a huge range of good and bad reviews on the internet, so what do you think? I was worried, but I think it's worth the price I paid. I wonder if you will be dissatisfied if it is expensive during the busy season.The first thing I noticed was that it wasn't barrier-free. In the essence area, I highly recommend the high CP value, friendly staff, long opening hours of public baths, and very attentive and exquisite dinners. I really like the feeling of this hotel. Even if there is a language barrier, every employee tries their best to make both parties feel comfortable. Warmth, I feel that every employee is trying to help travelers and every employee is trying to understand. This hotel can give travelers a sense of "original intention". It is my favorite hotel in Japan in the past two years. Dinner Very delicious, the staff are very attentive in teaching foreign tourists how to eat, they really work hard 100%.Hope such a nice place can stay in business forever.

After getting off the interchange, it took about 10 minutes to find it on the corner where the name comes from.The person at the front desk will serve you immediately, and you can have your car delivered to the parking lot, so you can check in at the front desk.The rooms are only Japanese-style rooms, so it was a perfect hotel to spend a relaxing time alone.(The building feels quiet because there are no popular things like a spa)Meals are served in your room, so you can eat slowly and quietly.Since breakfast was served in the room, I woke up early, took a morning bath, and then had breakfast.There are two baths: Kinsen (inside the bathroom) and Ginsen (outdoor bath). There is a slight difference in the floor before entering the golden spring in the bathroom.There are also steps inside the bathtub.(Caution included) It is better to be very careful.There are only 2.3 hair dryers in the bathroom, so it can be a bit of a problem when it gets crowded.There is also a water server. Amenities are also provided.Kado no Bosan's homemade seaweed wasabi had a very strong wasabi taste and it was amazing when eaten with rice! (It was for breakfast)Recommended! Kakunobo looks unattractive, but after staying here I found the room to be very tidy. The meals were also very good. Although the hot spring pool is not big, according to the actual flow of people, it is almost exclusive to the pool, so don't worry. Although the staff don't speak English, they are very attentive to their service. It is a cost-effective hot spring hotel.

I went to the monk on the corner.First of all, regarding the hot springs, you can enjoy both the open-air bath at Kinsen and the indoor bath at Ginsen.I thought it would be better to have a bench in the open-air bath to sit on when I get hot, but I think it would be difficult considering the space.Meals can be prepared in your room in the morning and evening, so it's nice to be able to eat while relaxing.The menu was carefully selected and was very delicious.The staff were also very kind.I think it's a good place to go if you want to go sightseeing while eating around Arima Onsen as it's very close. It is within a 2 minute walk.A convenience store is a 4.5 minute walk away.You can also enjoy mountain views from your room.

It was a satisfying meal for those of us who aren't hungry, sorry I didn't take any pictures. The building, lobby, and rooms have a very Showa-era feel to them, and for those who came expecting something modern, they might be left feeling unsatisfied. I was very satisfied with the rice and hot water in this historic mountain hot spring town. The location allows you to walk around the rolling hot spring town from the side of the inn.

I had to find accommodation in a hurry during the Obon holiday, and I was excited to go to Arima Onsen, thinking it was a high-class hot spring hotel, but everything turned out to be disappointing.The carpet in the hallway was tattered. (The public bath, which was reserved for women, was OK.) As for the meal, I had ordered the Kobe beef steak set, but I forgot about it and realized that it was the steak plan. The food was prepared in a hurry, and although it was a steak, it had different parts of the meat.The meat was delicious.I didn't expect the food to cost 35,000 yen, considering it was a one-night Bon fare.The futon was also cheap. There were a lot of people talking from above about how the futon service staff at the inn, who couldn't really relax, handed over the wrong room key, or when they did, they handed over the key to the wrong room. It is a fine hot spring inn with a long building history, so I would appreciate it if you could do it a little more from the customer's perspective. It was a shame. 🥺

This was my first time traveling alone to Arima Onsen!The room is also spacious.Above all, the room meal in the evening and morning was the best!The hot springs are in the large public baths, Kinsen and Ginsen.It felt good.Since it is a weekday, the large public bath isI was alone at night and in the morning.Thank you for a very satisfying solo trip!

all the staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. The thing i did notice is worn out carpet in the hallways. Aside from that, the facilities were excellent. Room was well kept and clean, there were way more items provided than i needed for sleeping and in room amenities.
