I used it for solo camping! It is a little far from the mainland and can be reached in about 3 minutes by boat.R6.As of October/12, it was 520 yen, and the ferry fee and parking lot fee at the ferry terminal are included in the set. The campsite itself is free.*The reset time is 8:00 a.m. the next day (I don't remember), so if you don't return by then, you will be charged an additional fee. There is a ticket vending machine at the reception desk at the ferry terminal where you can purchase tickets. You can also rent a rear car (free of charge).*Please note that there is a slope leading up to the platform, so if you overload the cart, it may not be able to stop on the slope and fall into the sea, so please be careful. By the way, the slope from the Kashima side is steeper (I have posted a photo)◯Good points•Good sceneryThe ocean is right in front of you, and there is an observation deck with a spectacular view.*It takes about 20 minutes to reach the observatory, but the path is solid with some stones hardened with concrete and some with wooden stairs, but there are also some rugged stones, so make sure to wear sturdy shoes and take children with you. Be careful not to fall.-Various facilities such as kitchen, toilet, shower, shop, play equipment etc.I don't know about the showers since I didn't use them, but there are two toilets (one is multi-purpose), and there are also toilets at Kashimaru Museum and Otaya. Each men's restroom has 1-2 small and 1 large (western) washrooms. The restrooms on the site side do not have washlets, but the restrooms at Kashimaru Museum and Exhibition Hall have washlets. You can enter from the side of the entrance, so you can go even after the museum is closed. The store closes at 4pm, but deer food is also sold at the traditional store.•Large site (lawn)I think there is room for about 20 groups. There is also a covered rest area.-I think it's the best fishing spotI don't do much fishing so I don't know for sure, but there were people fishing and they caught quite a bit. There are many spots such as embankments, so it might be fun to go fishing.•Cheap, you can also rent a trailerThe venue is free, but as mentioned above, there will be a ferry fee and a parking fee at the ferry terminal. You can also rent a cart for free, but after crossing, please choose a location, unload the cargo, and return it to the ferry port.*There is a limited number of machines, so if you leave them unused, it will be a nuisance to other people. This is also listed in the notes. The ferry leaves every 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the time of year, and is said to be open until 9pm, so it's easy to get there. The ferry ticket is a round-trip ticket, and you can just board the boat on the way back.◯What caught my attention•Strong windIt's a matter of concern, or rather a warning, because the sea is right in front of us, and sometimes there are strong winds.Be careful of objects that can fly away, such as tents and trash. I also felt like flying a kite due to the sudden wind.•There seems to be a centipede. It may be due to the season, but there seem to be a lot of centipedes, and there was a warning sign. The bite can be painful, so please be careful if you are coming with your family.*I didn't see it when I was there.•Smells and sounds of deerI didn't really notice it, but depending on the location (mountain side) there are deer on the other side of the fence, so you can smell them and hear the noise of them pecking at the fence at night, so if you're concerned about it, I think it's better to put it up on the sea side. Masu.It was my first time camping on a ferry and I had so much fun! There was also a rear car, so it wasn't a problem even if I had a lot of luggage. The facilities were great, the place was spacious, and the scenery was great!I'll come back later!
