Yadokari guesthouse is one of my favourite accommodation where I stayed during my one-year travel !! The hosts are incredibly nice. When we arrived, they offered us some tea and oranges from the garden. We had a nice conversation. The house is cool and the atmosphere really relax. You can enjoy the beach view from the living room. After cycling during hours, it was good to feel like at home ! Thank you again !

I was lucky to get my own room at the guesthouse after an exhausting day of biking the Shimanami Kaido. The hosts are a friendly couple who try their best to make your stay relaxing and comfortable. They have great suggestions about nearby tourist destinations and have much to share. There are snacks and instant noodle type food items available for purchase at the guesthouse for a reasonable price. An excellent experience overall!

My partner, adult son and i recently stayed here for two nights the house is beautiful, comfortable and well stocked. When i rent a house i never know how the kitchen will be, here you can really cook, there is a great big table to eat at and lots of snacks, or drinks to purchase on site. The hosts are really helpful and kind and respectful. The house is almost on the beach, i would go back in a heartbeat for longer.

A wonderful house handmade by the owner who came to greet us! Very friendly couple who made us fell really welcome. The island is fun to explore and the beach right in front of the house is beautiful. Sunset view is super. There were jelly fish in the water when we were there but apparently this is unusual. Kids had a great time playing in and around the house!

One of the best guest houses in Japan. You can find it on Airbnb or just call the owner. His English is very good. He renovated the house by his own, it's really impressive. There is a beach, massage chair, nice kitchen with everything you need for cooking, even some food and drinks you can buy and a lot of points more that are fantastic.

Such a lovely guesthouse with very welcoming hosts that was much needed after our long day of biking along the Shimanami Kaido. They recommended we visit a 'pirate museum' on Oshima and it was stellar! The rooms were delightful and air conditioned and we had enough space for all four of us. Foodwise: there was complementary miso soup, coffee, tea and the hosts gave us freshly grown cherry tomatoes from their garden when we arrived. There was microwave rice and curry bags and instant ramen and beer, sake and other food, snacks, and drinks to buy for 100 yen for each item. There's no grocery or convenience store nearby but what they had was tasty. You're encouraged to bring your own food as well. There's a beach right beside the guesthouse and the water was really nice (in July).Would definitely stay here again!

We loved Akira-san and Rei-san's place and they made our stay really memorable. We were only supposed to stay 1 night but we ended up staying 3 so we can explore the area more and take advantage of their generous hospitality 😊👍. It was a highlight of our trip around Shikoku. The place was a charming off-the-beaten-path stay in Oshima island. It filled all of our needs, with a combination of modern and traditional amenities, as well as fun personal touches that they lovingly put in their guesthouse. Akira-san and Rie-san are exactly the kind of people you want to meet during your travels--they do everything they can to make you feel at home, including conversations that lend themselves to the authentic connections we all seek out when we travel. We had such a good feel for the place that we extended our stay. This was one of our most memorable stays in Japan, hand down.
