This is Pinon, a Western-style inn that is a sister hotel to Matsumotoro.Western style = buildings, rooms and restaurantsRyokan = 4 free private hot spring bathsYou can take a bath 24 hours a day, no reservations required, as long as there are vacancies. This is a private bath that is great for couples, people with health issues, and people with small children. There are 2 locations of Shirogane-no-Yu and 2 locations of Ogon-no-Yu.The golden hot water is lukewarm. Shirogane's water temperature was average. However, I don't think there were any temporary beds for small children or auxiliary equipment for the elderly.Due to convenience, I stayed alone. As mentioned in other reviews, the resting space in the single room was mostly on the bed, the taste of the room didn't suit me, and the color of the curtains and walls were too heavy, so I didn't like it.However, dinner was a Western course meal that was visually appealing and didn't make me feel particularly lonely even when I was alone, and the food was served at the perfect time without making me wait, so that was a good thing. If you bring your Pinon Yukago to Matsumotoro's public bath, you can skip the reception and go straight to the public bath. The women's bath is on the 8th floor from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM, and on the 2nd floor from 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM the next morning. Enjoy the open-air bath on the 8th floor while it's still bright. The second floor has a sauna, carbonated spring, and cold bath. You can also see the night view of Pinon's illuminated tree from Matsumoto Tower.Pinon uses the night entrance from 9pm to 7am the next morning. If you hold your room card key over the reader, you can open it when you return from outside. The next morning, I had a choice of having breakfast at Pinon or Matsumotoro's buffet, and I chose Matsumotoro's buffet. It was the best match for me, with a buffet of ingenious dishes such as self-made kamameshi modeled after Yokogawa Pass's kamameshi, self-baked manju, Gunma's specialty offal stew, and Gunma's mochi pork shabu-shabu. The smoothie was delicious♪Pinon's check-out was convenient as there was a self-checkout machine.(PayPay calls the person in charge)If possible.I would like a crosswalk on the road that crosses to Matsumotoro. There are still dangerous crossings everywhere in Gunma, and I feel like they don't fit in with today's world.

The disadvantage is that it is far from Stairway Street, but it feels like you have come to Karuizawa in a Western style. The design is wonderful from the front desk to the rooms. Although it was written that they were confident in their food, this time I chose the buffet at the main building, and the selection was satisfying. You can soak in gold and silver in the hot springs, and the scenery from the open-air bath is spectacular.

First of all, the most surprising thing about staying at this inn was the bath.To be honest, I had some preconceived notions that I wasn't expecting a hot spring because the exterior looks like a stylish Western-style building, but I was disappointed in a good way.Golden hot springs are not very stimulating, but you can feel the hot springs as soon as you enter. The hot water was really pleasant, and although the bathtub was small in size, the freshness of the hot springs, hygiene, and visual quality were perfect. There are a total of 4 private baths, 2 of which are golden and 2 of which are silver, and it's great to be able to check availability on a tablet in your room, so you can take a bath when it's available. The Shirogane-no-Yu didn't have much of a hot spring feel, but since it's a private bath, there wouldn't be enough bath space if you only had the Golden Bath, so that's a charm. Also, you can use the large hot spring at Matsumotoro, which is about a 2-minute walk away, for free, so I was very satisfied with the hot spring. As for the food, it was as expected and as expected. The seasoning and ingredients are based on orthodox Western food, taste delicious, and above all, are easy to eat.I especially liked the sea bream pan sauce, and I think it's important to not deviate from everyone's tastes when eating dinner at a travel destination, so I think the orthodox content and seasoning is the correct answer. For breakfast, you can choose between Chinese or Western food, or Matsumotoro's buffet, and this time I chose Chinese and Western food.I felt that the Chinese food was a rare Chinese porridge, and the Western food was an omelet prepared by the chef, which combined the best of both a hotel and a ryokan.I was also impressed by the variety and high quality of the drink corner.I thought the Chinese bread I had for dinner and some of the breakfast items were ready-made, but they were also charming. If everything was taken care of completely, the price per room would inevitably rise, and the Chinese bread for dinner itself was just delicious, so I think the management team has good taste. The rooms are like a business hotel with neat unit baths. It is not suitable for people who are looking for comfortable and spacious rooms like those found in a Japanese inn, but I think it is suitable for people who find hotel rooms easy to use or people who want to move around the city aggressively. Also, the shortbread in the room was so delicious that I bought it as a souvenir. The level of hospitality is comparable to that of well-known city hotels. As expected from Matsumotoro, the hospitality is as warm as can be expected from tradition.Inside the hotel, the lobby looks like a Western-style building, and the interior design is profound and tasteful, giving it an extraordinary feel. The terrace next to the lobby looks like a villa and even has a footbath.Personally, I was very satisfied with the high quality of the building, the good hospitality, the hot springs, and the food, and the standard room rate, which was really good value for money.Lastly, the inn is a little far from the stone steps of Ikaho, but based on the feel of the guest rooms, I can guess that the main customer base is single middle-class single aristocrats or young couples in their 20s and 30s, so if you are in good shape, you can take a walk at Ikaho. I think walking around the city is a real pleasure.I also think that there are many people who don't have the opportunity to eat a Western course meal or stay in a hotel, so if you are a couple or traveling alone, I recommend this inn as it is sure to make memories.

It's a private hot spring, so you can take a relaxing bath. You can also bathe in the hot spring in the main building (Matsumotoro), so it is recommended for hot spring lovers ♨️The rooms are simple and functional. You can spend your time comfortably😊And what we recommend is the food🍽️The food at “Pinon” is always consistently delicious😋I can’t help but go for the wine🍷🍾

It was a good stay! The main building is nearby Matsumotoro, and you can enjoy the large public bath in the main building, as well as the breakfast buffet if you choose. The large communal bath on the 2nd floor of the main building has a sauna, carbonated spring, and cold bath, and the large communal bath on the 8th floor has an open-air bath. The night view was very beautiful. It was a meal at Pinon, and both the wine and the wine tasted great. You can get refills of bread and rice. The rice was locally produced rice and the nameko soup was very delicious. You can use 2 types of Ikaho Onsen in your free time in 4 private baths. You can also watch Netflix in your room.Next time, I would like to stay for consecutive nights and try the cuisine of the main building and Pinon.

The recommendation of this inn is the French-style kaiseki dinner. It's delicious. However, as a man, the amount was a little small for me.Both the exterior and interior of the inn have a unique and cute impression. When you enter the entrance, you will be greeted by a stylish space that will make you forget that you are even in Ikaho. The bath was also nice. It is a private reservation system, and you can check the availability from the terminal in the guest room, so I went to visit but it was not available! I won't fall into that situation. In addition, there were about two groups of guests staying alone.

The room was small, but it was clean so it was good.Although the food is standard, I am very satisfied. The pork was melty.I used the private bath several times. To get to Matsumotoro, which is a 2-minute walk, you have to go up a hill, which is difficult for people with poor legs. The bath on the second floor is described as an open-air bath, but it doesn't feel like an open-air bath.I chose the breakfast buffet in the morning, and it was a great choice! !Each one is extremely delicious! !
