I visited with my wife and eldest daughter during summer vacation. It takes about 3 hours from Chiba, and the road near the inn is narrow so be careful of oncoming cars.Well, we've arrived.I parked my car in front of the inn, climbed the stairs to the front desk, and checked to see if it was possible to use a stroller.I carried my luggage to the front desk, dropped off my wife and child, and entered the building myself. The manager will welcome you.He was a very friendly and nice person. We had a lot of luggage as we were traveling with children for 3 consecutive nights, but the staff at the inn carried it to our room.I entered the room.Spacious 12 tatami Japanese room with massage machine and unit bath.Drinks in the fridge are included in the price of your stay. You can see the green trees and the sound of the river from the window.Meals were served in the room for both breakfast and dinner. For dinner on the first day, we had char sashimi.I was born in Hokkaido and had fished in the river and eaten char when I was a child, but this was my first time eating sashimi. The meat is firm and the fat is nice and delicious. The hotpot is Mochi Pork Shabu-Shabu from a branded pork. This one is also so delicious that there's plenty of mushrooms and other toppings, so there might be more than enough for two people. The rice is the ryokan's specialty pheasant dish, which is rice cooked with pheasant meat.Freshly fried tempura will come later. If you let us know when you've finished eating, your dessert will come as soon as you put down your dishes.I'm full.Since we had small children, my wife and I took turns visiting the public bath.My wife went in the evening and I went in the morning. The bath is a brown hot spring with hot spring flowers.Feels good. For breakfast, we had wild mushrooms in a tagine pot, salad, and egg porridge for rice, all of which were delicious. It was the first time I saw my wife eat mushrooms and be so impressed. After breakfast, a guest room with a semi-open-air bath was available, so I was offered an upgrade. It seemed like there would be an additional charge, but I thought it was highly recommended, so I moved to the room. The previous guest checked out and immediately cleaned the room, and moved the room before noon.Oh, it's a little different from a normal guest room, isn't it?The bedroom and living room are separated, and the futon in the bedroom can be pulled out, which is great for families with small children. The bath is large, the bathtub is a rock bath, and the hot water is not a hot spring. However, it comes with a faucet that automatically shuts off, which is convenient. Also, upgrade the contents of your refrigerator. Two people can't drink it all.For those staying multiple nights, a bowl of lunch is included. On the first day, we had sauce cutlet rice bowl and it was very delicious.I couldn't go out with my child because of the bad weather, but the manager was considerate and opened the public bath to me so I could take a bath with my child when there were no other customers. I did.It was my daughter's hot spring debut, and when she got out of the hot spring, her rough skin was surprisingly clean.Tonight's dinner was the famous pheasant shabu, probably trout sashimi instead of salmon, and lots of other things, and it was delicious. The pheasant meat had no taste at all and was light, and the sashimi was delicious with just the right amount of fat.Tempura is freshly fried today as well.Breakfast on the second day was grilled salmon, salad, and a huge bowl of steamed egg custard. My stomach is full.On the second day, I had pheasant oyakodon for lunch, which was delicious. After that, I went to the hot springs again with my child, and my skin was so smooth, thank you very much. The weather finally got nicer so I took a look around. There were many places to see such as the lake and the zoo, and we even went to the Kodaira Limestone Cave.I have a small child, so I'll just take a look.Tonight's dinner was A5 rank beef shabu, pheasant sashimi, fried sandwiches, and rice cooked with mushrooms. The tempura is freshly fried every day, and today we have char tempura, and the bones are fried to a crispy texture.Does it come with soba noodles too? My stomach explodes. My wife went to the open-air bath. The location offers a view of the waterfall. There is no washing area, so you can take a leisurely bath while admiring the scenery.Last breakfast.Salad, a huge omelet, stir-fried eggplant, cucumber and meat with miso, tagine hotpot with mushrooms and potatoes in butter, white rice served in a bowl, and grilled rice balls with dashi chazuke.I'm already hungry. The inn is good, the hot springs are good, and there are lots of things to see in the surrounding area, so when my kids get older, I will come again for consecutive nights.I gave it a perfect score of 100.thank you very much.
