It was a good accommodation as I had researched in advance. Kusatsu is far from Tokyo, so if you were going to go there anyway, you would stay for several nights and chose this reasonably priced inn. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the staff are friendly and have a good sense of distance. He left me alone for a reasonable amount of time, and at the same time, I was able to ask him to do things like raise and lower the futon, clean the room, take a bath, and help me get my bagel in the morning, all at the right time. I like open-air baths, so I was happy to have a private open-air bath. It's a short walk from Yubatake and Nishi-no-Kawahara, but there are many hills in Kusatsu town, and the inside of the building requires stairs, so those with mobility problems should be careful. For meals, we ate outside at an izakaya or soba restaurant, and since there was a supermarket within walking distance, we bought drinks and snacks and enjoyed them in our room. The public bath has an open-air bath for men only.

Since I wanted to enjoy Kusatsu Onsen and eat while walking, I stayed at this inn that had good reviews and was a room only. What I would like to praise most is the staff's courteous response. Even when I arrived early after contacting him, he didn't give me any unpleasant looks, and his way of speaking and staying close to each other was just right, and he was very personable. It was a great experience from start to finish, with no complaints at all. When I inquired about staying this time, I made the mistake of calling the main building, and the staff at the main building had the worst response, which made me laugh as I thought there was such a difference in reception skills lol.The guest rooms have been renovated and are clean and comfortable. There are some places that place emphasis on cost performance when it comes to amenities, but it's not a big deal when it comes to using them. Rather, this is sufficient.A great point is that you can drink coffee anytime at the in-house coffee server. The hot springs are small, but the water takes a while to change to hot water, so you can enjoy Kusatsu Onsen without any complaints. It's free to rent, and women only have an indoor bath, so relaxing in the private open-air bath is a must.Women's colored yukatas are available for free, basket bags, and footwear such as setta and geta, so you'll have everything you need for a stroll. Our goal was to visit the three hot springs, but the Nishi-no-Kawara open-air bath is also within walking distance, and with a short walk you can easily access Nishi-no-Kawara Street and Yubatake, making it a perfect place to stroll around in a yukata. I don't have any trouble with food either. In fact, it's located in a corner with less foot traffic, so it's quieter. Even if you don't have a view of the Yubatake, you don't have to worry about it because you can see it if you go to the Yubatake, and if you're concerned about the pick-up and drop-off time, Taipa is definitely better here.In the morning, you can get bagels from Lucky Bagel for free, so you can have a light snack with your coffee.Although it doesn't have the luxury or extravagance of a large inn, it's more comfortable and comfortable, so I feel like it's comparable in that respect. If I look at it as a category of accommodation without meals, I think it's high class.

The location is convenient as it is near the riverbank. The hostess was very responsive and I could feel that she was trying her best, so I had a comfortable stay. You can only stay without meals, but for breakfast you can have bagels from a famous local bagel shop in Kusatsu.Unfortunately, we couldn't eat because we checked out at 5am.There is a coffee maker in the lobby where you can enjoy coffee for free.Unusually, they also have ice cream in that location, so you can make your own iced coffee on hot summer days, which is really nice! I thought.

I got a little lost trying to find it, maybe because it's an annex.I had checked the map beforehand...It didn't turn out as I expected. The hotel is comfortable without any problems ✨There is a place in the room where you can take a shower and hot water even if it is small😊There are yukatas, bath towels, and old-fashioned slippers.I didn't have much time so I brought my own slippers.Toothbrushes, yukatas, and towels are provided. There are 3 futons spread out on the tatami mat, so I can sleep like that (tsu∀-)OyasumiIt didn't feel that far to Yubatake..Private baths are free, and there are baths No. 1 and No. 2. Although No. 1 is small, it is sufficient. 2 has 2 washrooms [showers], so it can be used by multiple people. It is larger than 1.The women's public bath was available 24 hours a day.

I was impressed by the hostess and employees who seemed kind and easy to talk to, but who kept a good sense of distance.Use the room on the 2nd floor. It was thoroughly cleaned. It was a cool day, but I was sweating a lot when walking around the hot spring town with its many slopes, so I was grateful for a room with a bathroom. However, the shower head was old, so I have fond memories of water coming out from interesting places. lolThe air conditioner was very nice, but I thought it would be useful to have a fan.The private bath was very nice. There seemed to be few guests staying, so when I reserved the private bath, I was able to reserve a larger room. There were also two washrooms.I used it early in the morning, but it took quite a while for the hot water to come out for the shower. It seems better to check before taking a bath. You can reserve table tennis for 350 yen.You will be guided to a private room, so you can play without worrying about other people watching. In the morning, bagels from a nearby shop are served in the lobby. Enjoy unlimited coffee and cocoa during your stay.It was just behind the main street so it was quiet.I would like to use it again next time.

About a week before the Golden Week, I decided to look for a hot spring inn in Kusatsu and found a reasonably priced one for a family of 3 for less than 50,000 yen, so I made a reservation.I think the location is very good. It's a bit of a climb from Yubatake, but you can reach it in about 10 minutes even if you walk slowly. You can reach it by car without passing through the center. The hot springs have one communal large bath for men and women, and one large and small private bath. For the evening, you will make a reservation for a 40-minute time slot at check-in. In the morning, if the private bath is unlocked, you can enter and use it after locking the door, so no reservations are necessary. This was a good system.Move around the facility in slippers. When going outside in a yukata, there are setta and geta at the entrance, so you can use them to go outside. There is a wicker basket in the room, so it would be nice to use it. You can leave the key with you or take it with you.

It was a very nice inn! There is no breakfast typical of a ryokan, but you can enjoy a 24-hour cafe and bagels in the morning. The room was bright and clean, and the hot spring was great!I think I want to go again!
