I will use it when I go to Kusatsu Onsen. Many inns do not have parking lots, but there is a parking lot in front of the building, so if you arrive early, you can leave your car and take a walk around the hot spring town.Although the building feels old, it is kept clean and you can spend a relaxing time there.

I used it for an overnight stay. The building is old and has a historical feel, so I was a little concerned about noises, footsteps, and voices. Also, there was a gap in the door of the guest room, so insects sometimes came out. The key to the guest room was very simple and there were times when I felt a little inconvenienced. The walls, sliding doors, and hanging scrolls in the guest room had dirt and stains over time, but this may be due to the age of the room. On the other hand, the toilets and public baths have been replaced with relatively new equipment and appear clean, but there were some areas that were not properly cleaned. Still, the bathhouse itself was clean and the water quality was good.It is a historical inn, as described on the official website as the "oldest inn." While it feels old, it may be a bit unsatisfactory for those looking for modern comfort. The prices weren't particularly cheap, so I felt it was worth considering other new accommodations. However, the location right next to Yubatake is very convenient and perfect for sightseeing. The reason why this inn is highly rated may be because of its good location and the fact that you can feel the history (to put it in a positive way).Young people should avoid it.I couldn't understand why each site had such high reviews.

Stunning experience. Highly recomend staying here to experience the best Kusatsu has to offer. This historical onsen is one of the few in town able to draw water directly from the spring. This onsen is also tattoo friendly as long as patrons with tattoos are respectful of the onsen.Dinner and breakfast we're a feast. Each meal offering a taste of many local dishes.Rooms are comfortable and offer a traditional experience with tatami mat floors and futon sleeping arrangements. The host was very kind and courteous, going above and beyond to help us navigate the local area.

It was an inn where you could feel the good old Showa era atmosphere. The food was hearty and delicious, as you would expect from a ryokan. Because the building is old, the walls were thin, so I was concerned about the sounds of people talking in the next room and footsteps on the second floor. The staff's response was good. I took a walk around the area and returned to the inn early, and around 4pm, I thought there was no one there, so I went to take a bath with my child, but no one was there, so I took a leisurely bath, and unexpectedly saw a group of four young men. I had a bad feeling when someone came in, but as expected, they started making a fuss, so I had planned to go back in after dinner, so I left immediately (this was the only unfortunate thing that happened). The bathroom itself was small, unlike a hotel. is. Well, I couldn't help but think that I was unlucky to have stayed on the same day as someone like this. There are only a few rooms, so you won't run into other guests inside the building except for taking a bath or eating. I think this is a good inn for people traveling alone.

An antique hotel, very close to any nearby attractions, but the smell of sulfur is quite strong

Wow!!! It was so good!!I wanted to find a place to stay near Yubata, so I decided to look at the map and the accommodation app. This amount of money for this level of service? When I tried to book a hotel last minute, it kept going up.I think we made a reservation at the right price. You have to pay when you check out, so it would be a good idea to do it in advance with Travel Wallet!!The room is spacious and warmer than expected. It was dry because I kept the heater on, but hehe. The bathroom is also really nice!!!I think I'll come here again next time.lol

Mr. Nisshinkan took care of me this time.I liked the bath that drew hot water directly from the Yubatake. New types of inns are opening one after another in Kusatsu, but this one is truly a long-established one. Speaking of ryokans, I wanted to enjoy the Showa era atmosphere, and the atmosphere was just as I had read in advance.Dinner is packed with a wide variety of local ingredients. I thoroughly enjoyed it with Gunma's local sake. Yubatake is also just a short walk away. The attached cafe, Sabo Guteraize, is also relaxing. I'll come again.
