We stayed here for 2 nights in March 2024. I want to go again!Dishes ▶ Sashimi, boiled fish, fried fish, salt-grilled, mozuku, whitebait, shellfish...all were extremely delicious and plentiful. Yellowtail sashimi and Kyushu soy sauce...🥰I'll never forget itAccommodation fee▶On the website, it is stated as 10,000 yen for 1 night with 2 meals, but if you are staying alone, it will be 11,000 yen (cash only). When I made the reservation, I thought it was a bit expensive, but the food was amazing so I have no complaints!Reservation ▶ I made a reservation by phone, but it was difficult to connect. The room was spacious enough to accommodate a table and a set of futons. There were plenty of hangers, which was easy to use (it would have been even better if there was a clothesline on the balcony).(My visual acuity is 1.5 with the naked eye) Some dust got into my eyes, but I didn't develop any rhinitis, so it wasn't a problem. The air conditioner turned on right away and it was comfortable!Others▶It is run by an elderly couple. I was alone, so I was glad that they took care of me.On the second day, I was the only guest (the couple staying at the inn seemed to have gone back to their homes next door, so I was really alone). I was a little scared so I went to sleep right away. It's quiet so you can sleep soundly.

The location is great, right in front of the sea. There is also a lighthouse about a 2 minute walk away, so you can also see the sunrise. The food is delicious no matter what you eat, and the host is kind. The only facilities in the room are a TV and futon, but the hand washing station in the hallway is also retro and nice. Is the bath also a silver bath? I started missing my grandmother's house. It seems like there is a system where you can take a bath in the order you book your stay.If you come to Cape Toi, this is the inn you definitely want to stay at!

Since it was reserved for private use, it was quiet and comfortable, but it had spacious facilities, so I felt it was a waste to rent it out.I learned a lot from listening to the husband and landlady's fun stories about Cape Toi.Not only the food is full of seafood, but the tea is also very delicious, and I was told that they go out of their way to order carefully selected tea from Shizuoka. I would like to visit again.

I spent one night at a group of middle-aged and elderly bike touring fathers, and I had a lot of fun memories with the kind, rural atmosphere.

2022.11.4(Fri)I stayed there by bike. The area around the guesthouse is grass and gravel. They took the trouble to open up the garage that was being used by the guest house, and we were able to barely park our four large motorcycles. If there are more than that, it seems like you will have no choice but to park them outside. The road to the guest house was quite narrow and sloped, and there were no street lights, so it was quite scary as we headed there after dark...However, since it was dark around us, the sunset seen from the parking lot was very beautiful (*^^* )The walls in the room were extremely thin and I could hear the voices in the next room (lol). My friends seemed to be talking normally, but it was so loud that I had to be careful to speak quietly (^_^;)There were only two other groups of guests, so I was able to take a bath and have a meal without any hassle, which was good, but if there were a lot of guests, it might be a problem with the noise, attention, etc.The building is old so I can't say it's clean, but it's been cleaned so I didn't mind that much. But at dinner time, there were two ants on my food that I didn't know where they came from...and there was a big spider on the wall (lol). For those who don't like insects, it might be a bit...(^_^;)There was a lot of food and it was delicious! This amount is amazing for this amount of money. There were a variety of juices in there, so please choose the one you like from the refrigerator. I don't drink much alcohol, so I was happy to have a wide variety of juices (*^^*)Everyone at the guesthouse was bright and friendly, which was great. He even went out of his way to see me off when I left in the morning. The customer service and food were very good, so I recommend it to people who don't care about the age of the building!

I found out about this inn after looking at the list of inns for the August 2022 Kushima City campaign. The building is old, but the inside is clean.Cleanliness is perfect everywhere you look.No matter where I look, not a single hair has fallen or a speck of dust, whether it's on the tatami mats in the room, in the dining hall, or in the changing area of the bathroom. There is no mold or water stains anywhere in the washroom, toilet, bathroom tiles, or bath chairs.Since it's a stainless steel bath, there should be water stains and stains, but it shines without any of that.first impression“I guess the landlady spends half of the day cleaning the inn.”The more I think. There are no separate men's and women's baths, so it's OK for families to enter. There are toothbrushes and paper cups in the bathroom. There are towels and bath towels in the room. The toilets and washrooms have foam hand soap and paper towels. (Most major hotels don't have paper towels, so it was comfortable.)The shampoo conditioner in the bathroom is double.(I'm glad it's not a commercial rinse-in)There is also proper body soap. All the dishes are delicious. You can bring drinks into the restaurant! Of course, there is no charge for bringing it in!My husband doesn't like carbonated drinks from pubs because they're weak, so he always drinks his favorite brand of carbonated lemon sour, so I was really grateful that he was allowed to bring his own!(Would you like to drink in your room? They even prepared a cup and ice for your room.)The fish dishes were of course delicious, and even the daikon radish and carrots in the sashimi were sweet and delicious. Both the host and the landlady are kind and full of smiles. Especially the owner's smile makes people feel warm. Just that smile makes my heart melt. It is often said that one's personality is shown in one's face, and the owner's personality is all expressed through his smile.I asked a very rude question on the phone beforehand, but they welcomed me with a big smile, and even though they may have been unpleasant customers, they were kind to me.Also, they seemed to have small grandchildren, so they were very understanding of the hardships faced by families with children. They told us that it would be difficult to take a bath by themselves, and that they provided toys for children on the chairs in the dining room. It was helpful. Also, most of the dining areas are reserved for private use, so even though my one-year-old child was running around the entire time, we were able to eat slowly without apologizing to anyone. This is a relaxing and relaxing time that you cannot experience at other popular inns or major hotels.I was also happy that all the dishes were laid out at the beginning, so I was able to eat at my own pace.Since I eat quickly, I want to eat without waiting for one meal after another. At other inns and hotels, I feed my children and don't even touch them at all, but when they come to check on me to see if they've finished eating. I get tired of rushing and worrying, but since everything was laid out here at the beginning, I was able to really enjoy myself and take my time. Also, the WiFi is super fast. The line was thick and there weren't many customers (myself and one other group), so we reserved most of the WiFi line. With super fast WiFi, I was able to quickly complete backups and updates that I had been waiting for. lolWhen I lie down on the futon in my room after dinner, I feel a sense of nostalgia and calmness that makes me feel like I'm staying over at my grandma's house. Anyway, it makes you feel warm and gentle.I was really confused as to why, but I understand.Anyway, the cleaning is perfect and the room is clean and has a good atmosphere. I thought. This beauty made me feel the hostess's hospitality. When asked, "Do you want to come again?"...I want to come again. I'll come back later. It was an inn that I truly hope will never go out of business. It made me think that there is a way to convey hospitality without using physical objects.

I stayed here nine years ago, so maybe things are different now. There was a time when that was the case. One weekend, I was the only one staying overnight. When I went to the accommodation building, there was no one there, and it was a semi-ruined building full of spider webs. There was no response to my voice, and the thought of stopping here at night gave me chills, so I searched for another accommodation in the car, when... I heard a tapping sound on the car window. When I looked at it, the old lady said, ``Are you staying overnight today?'' It was my luck that I was surprised by the sudden voice and didn't lie. I was guided to my room.On the way to the room, there was a parade of spiders and centipedes. However, the inside of the room was unexpectedly clean, and it seemed like the only safe zone had been created. One day, I was told, ``I can't clean up, so I want you to take a bath quickly,'' so I had no choice but to take a bath. The bath itself was normal, but all the towels were damp (why?) and I couldn't dry myself properly.Even though I washed it off with hot water, the hallway to my room was full of bugs. Walking on the tips of my feet like in a cartoon, I quickly got to my room and closed the door.I think the meal consisted of sashimi, rice, miso soup, and a small side dish, but the tuna that was obviously not fresh that I had bought at the supermarket was served, and it reminded me of the insect kingdom outside my room, so it felt very unpleasant. I was told that there are many refills, but this is far from the case. I went back to my room, checked to see if there were any centipedes in the room, and made sure there were no bugs on my futon (I was scared), so I went to bed without covering myself with a futon.I left in the morning without even having breakfast.Hygiene-wise, it was the worst inn I've ever stayed in, and I couldn't believe they were making people pay for it. I sincerely hope that you will consider staying here.
