Thank you Wooribo for having us during our stay in Kusatsu! I happen to book with them on a whim as everything else on the booking engines were either too expensive or wasn't to our liking. The location was a convenient walk to Yubatake ~5min and close to Lawson! Our room was comfortable and decently sized for a small intimate ryokan. The futon was comfortable for myself however for my boyfriend who is on the taller side, required a second futon to thicken it up. The breakfast was great consisting of the same proteins and ingredients however eggs were done differently each day- really loved the scrambled eggs! The onsen was never busy, we didn't have to wait whenever we were ready for a shower and a dip, the water was however quite hot and took some time getting used to and we couldn't stay long. With that being said we slept very well after our onsen session. The staff at Wooribo were all so lovely and helpful. As non-Japanese speakers we utilised google translate when needed and was not an issue. We were given a town map from the moment we got there. We loved the samue we got to wear, however we would have appreciated an overcoat to go with it so we could wear it out.Overall, if you are looking for an intimate, non-commercialised and cozy ryokan to stay at, look no further! They also have a sister ryokan however we picked this one because they had ample parking spots.Thank you Wooribo!

Nice, quiet and cozy little hotel, with 2 private onsen you can use. Toilet and wash basin in room. Nice location, close to bus terminal. Friendly staff, surprisingly there is English speaking staff that ease the communication. Healthy and yummy breakfast included.

I stayed here because I wanted to relax in a small, quiet inn. The cute logo of three gourds is the landmark. The staff were all polite and kind, and when I checked in, they taught me how to use the room and bath, as well as directions to the Yubatake field and restaurant. There are two private baths that draw hot water from Yubatake. Use the tag while taking a bath. You can take a bath from midnight until 9am the next day, so you can enjoy a bath in the morning. The water temperature is hot. There is a hot water massage board so you can enjoy your own hot water massage lolYou will be staying without meals, but if you wish, they will provide you with a morning snack.I had a great time until checkout! This is an inn I would like to stay at again.

A stylish room. There is also a sense of cleanliness.Close to Yubatake, just a few minutes walk away.I stayed for 2 nights and they changed the breakfast menu a little on the second day.(Easy omelet made from fried eggs.(bread, jam, sandwiches, etc.)Since there are only a few rooms, you can usually use the two private baths.I stayed there with my children, and it was a nice inn that took a lot of things into account.

I stayed there because I was attracted by the modern but cute design of the building and the Uribo illustrations. The size of the room, the fluffy bed, the private bath, the location, and the breakfast were all great. The staff were all very kind and comfortable, and it was a wonderful stay.

I wanted to go to Kusatsu Onsen, but rather than have a standard meal at a ryokan, I thought it would be better to have a nice izakaya (Japanese izakaya) and then relax in the famous hot springs at an inn, so I decided on the Uribo Ryokan for a room only. The inn seemed new, small, and very clean. It's also nice that the location is in a quiet place. There is a parking lot across the street, which can accommodate 7 to 8 cars. It's also nice to take a walk through the hot spring town with your camera to Yubatake. The host made reservations for us at an izakaya where locals go. It was very delicious. I was grateful. If I hadn't made a reservation, the restaurant would be full and I wouldn't be able to get in. Thank you very much. The breakfast the next morning was delicious and the coffee was good too.I recommend it.
