I stayed at Hotel West. Around Obon in August, for the purpose of escaping the heat. For morning and evening meals (buffet) and hot springs, we used the Honzen Main Building across the road. It wouldn't be a problem for a night or two, but since I stayed with my family for several nights, the only thing that made me a little tired was the fact that I got caught in the rain several times as I changed into my shoes and headed to the main building (lol). Mountain weather is changeable! I'm thinking of visiting the main building the next time I use it! Vinyl umbrellas are always ready for use.My stomach tends to get upset when I travel, but it was a relief to be able to get a lot of fiber from the kenchin soup with lots of ingredients for dinner. I also enjoy local simmered dishes. The Western-style dishes were also warm and delicious. The staff quickly lowered the plate when it became empty, so it was a pleasant experience to refill the plate. In my family, we always took a bath in the open-air large communal bath along the outside corridor, but the semi-indoor large communal bath also seemed to be popular. As for the rooms in the West (annex), I think they were made with families and student skiers in mind, so I didn't have high expectations given the price, but even though it was summer, if you opened the windows, you wouldn't have to turn on the air conditioner. It's not only bearable, it's a bit cold in the mornings and evenings, but it's comfortable.Naturally, the bunk beds are a bit hard, so if you want a comfortable bed for the whole family, the main building might be better. There is Wi-Fi, but it was a bit unstable, so I might not recommend it if you want to get into online games (!?) or remote work while traveling. The signal at the main building seemed to be stronger. I haven't used the cottage this time, so I have no idea.During Obon, a summer festival and fireworks were held in the neighborhood, and since I like driving, I took a short drive to go fishing, and I enjoyed using it as a base for driving around Niigata Prefecture for several days to stretch my legs. It's really comfortable when the nights are cool!I also passed people from youth sports clubs and music club training camps, and I thought it was the most lively season after winter sports and the autumn leaves season.

I stayed here for one night when I came to Naeba Ski Resort with my kids. Since it's a condominium, you have to buy your own meals and eat them in your room. The kids will love it because it has bunk beds. The location is great, close to the ski resort.

It was written that dogs can also stay, but there is nothing for dogs, so if you bring your dog, you will stay in the cottage. Baths and meals are across the road, so it's a bit scary at night (lol) because the road is pitch black. But the people at the hotel were very nice. Afterwards, the bath was great! The cottage is a unit, but the main building is a hot spring.

Since we were staying with 5 people, we chose a large room with 2 Japanese-style rooms. It was a calm room with the atmosphere of an old folk house.I felt like there wasn't a lot of variety in the food. The white rice was very tasty. While I was eating, I felt like I was being watched by many staff members, so I ate in a hurry. My son had finished his meal and was talking about eating a little more when he lowered the tableware...enough. have become.I'm not in a position to comment on matters such as staff allocation, but I wish they would have given it some thought. (To begin with, the meal time itself was short. It wasn't busy.)The bathroom was very nice, clean and great. The road to the detached open-air bath also had a nostalgic feel to it.

I used a cottage because I was able to bring my pet with me. The price is about the same as the main building, which is about a three-minute walk away, but it feels like a bungalow. The morning and evening buffet and hot springs at the main building are very satisfying. I understand because pets are a priority.

It's a nice and quiet place. The restaurant is run by Honjin, so meals are served at Honjin. The building was equipped with a mini-kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, and water heater.

The hot spring public bath is located in the main building across the road, which is a little inconvenient, but for this price, it's not a problem.
