Hot water is good. It has no odor and relieves fatigue, and there is no excessive stickiness.Although the rooms and facilities felt old (the wallpaper in the guest rooms had been renovated), there was no musty odor as mentioned in other reviews, and I thought it was rare to find an inn that was kept so well-maintained.The view of the morning mist and evening mist seen from the window in mid-October was very beautiful. It would be a shame if the autumn leaves on the mountain in front of me were a little more advanced. If you are looking for the services of a luxury hotel, you should choose such an inn, and this place was so convenient that it felt like staying overnight for a hot spring treatment.Although the price doesn't match the facilities and human service, I think it's worth it if you can find value in the atmosphere, hot water, and comfort.

I stayed there for the first time with 3 adults and 2 pets on a 2 night 3 day trip, but it was a disappointing stay! ! First of all, when I opened the entrance to the room, there was a very musty smell. I was worried that I would be spending 2 nights and 3 days in this room. When I entered the room, there were holes in the shoji screens, the mat in the bathroom was dirty, and the entire space, including the changing room in the open-air bath, the washroom, the toilet, and the bedroom, smelled of mold, which was unbearable (tears). ). So, even though I had an air conditioner on, I opened the window to ventilate the room, and when the food was brought to me, the staff probably thought it was a waste of money to keep the window open even though the air conditioner was on. I was asked to close it! To be frank, I was disappointed that I had to pay such a high price for a room like this and not be able to stay comfortably. I've stayed at various hotels that allow pets, but none of them were pet-friendly! There are no amenities for pets at all. There weren't even wet wipes or rolls for pets. In terms of food, we had 3 slices of ham at breakfast on the first night, but none of the three of us liked it so we left it alone, but we had 3 slices of ham at breakfast on the second night as well. It was an inn with no such consideration. To make matters worse, on the morning of my second night, I felt itchy all over my body and when I looked at my back in the mirror, there were 3 red, swollen bumps (tears). This is the first time I've been to such a disappointing hostel. I will never go there again.

If you are alone, you can stay in a room with an open-air bath even on Saturdays. When I stayed there, it was 20,900 yen for one night and two meals included. It's cheap for a single night stay in a room with an open-air bath on the day before a holiday. There are mixed reviews, but I had no problems with this hotel and would like to stay there again. It may not be suitable for those who are particular about details or those who are nervous.

A top choice as a hot spring inn that is easy to stay at even with children. The dining room and sleeping room are separated, there is a wide veranda, and there is even an open-air bath. Additionally, meals are served in the room, a nod to the good old Showa era.The quality of the hot spring water is perfect, and the food is of a satisfying level in both taste and quantity.
