The hot springs, food, and room were absolutely excellent. Due to the location of Tsukioka Onsen, there aren't many tourist attractions or shopping places around, so I think it's better to mainly stay overnight and enjoy your stay before checking in.

I stayed at several Tsukioka Onsen hotels, and it seems that there are quite a few differences depending on the source! I like the quality of the hot springs at Hisagosou the most. The welcome drink service was nice.I was a little dissatisfied with the room because if there were three people, we couldn't sit around the table and have tea.I think the half buffet for breakfast is a good idea.

I used it on an off-season trip. It was a simple and safe inn that made you feel like you were back in the late Showa era to the mid-Heisei era. The 100% source hot spring has a unique sulfur smell, but your skin will be smooth! The warm customer service from the employees will make you feel like you've just come home. This is an inn where you'll want to relax and have some time to yourself.

I stayed here on my way back from the racecourse.I ate delicious food at a reasonable price and took a bath in a very nice hot spring. The welcome drinks available until 7pm include sparkling wine, local sake, soft drinks, as well as persimmon seeds and mixed nuts, which is great. It feels old in some places, but it's actually a good feeling, and the necessary areas such as the toilets have been renovated, so it doesn't really bother me.The large public bath has an amazing sulfur smell, and the water is slippery and warm enough that you can stay in it for a long time. It's convenient that there are face towels in the changing room.I thought it would have been nice to have a locker in the changing room to put the key in.The rice was a reasonably priced plan, but the rice was delicious and I was satisfied with the items that went well with it.The raw egg and sauce cutlet for breakfast was especially good.

I stayed here on a family trip.Since it was during the Obon period, accommodation prices were quite high at all the accommodations, but I was grateful that the price was kept low and the child rate remained the same. The hot springs were by far the best! There are only two baths, an indoor bath and an outdoor bath, but the quality of the spring water is good and your skin will be smooth. It had a nice soft smell, rather than the strong hydrogen sulfide smell like in Kusatsu, and the open air was lukewarm, so the kids were able to soak it up slowly. The changing room and bathroom were also nice and clean. The room had been renovated so it was very comfortable. The food was delicious (especially the meat), but I felt like I would have liked to have eaten it while it was still warm as the magnolia leaves and steamed meat were served afterwards.I also ordered some juice during the meal, but it came out in a plastic bottle, so I thought it would be nice to have a glass or bottle of juice for a better atmosphere lol.Overall, I am satisfied with this very good inn!

The natural reception, the spaciousness of the lobby and rooms, and the quality of the hot springs were very soothing. There was local sake as a welcome drink, and the atmosphere was cozy with jazz music playing. The Koshihikari kamameshi we had for dinner was pure white and delicious! !
