Mikunisou gives off a cozy atmosphere that feels like home. The cleanliness is great, and the staff was very welcoming.They offered excellent value for money, providing both breakfast and dinner in the accommodation package. Their complimentary shuttle service to and from the nearby ski area is very convenient, making access hassle-free. The staff's extensive knowledge of the area helped us a lot when choosing which areas were best to snowboard in. They also went the extra mile by allowing my injured friend to have an early bath.I highly recommend Mikunisou to other travelers looking for a genuine Japanese experience. The authentic Japanese teishoku-style meals provided are delightful, reflecting the essence of local cuisine. However, it's worth noting that communication may be challenging for non-Japanese speakers, as the staff primarily speak Japanese.Just a note that the rooms are all Japanese-style tatami rooms, so there are no physical beds. The pillows are also quite hard, so it might be uncomfortable to sleep on them.In summary, our expectations were highly met by its outstanding hospitality and value, making it an ideal choice for those who appreciate authenticity and warmth in their accommodation experience.

Yoki Tanaka also stopped at this inn during Great Traverse 3.A kind 83-year-old grandmother also works there, making it a very homely and nice inn.P.S.) Grandma has been moved to a home-like place within the hospital, so I can't meet her. I wanted to see you in good health one more time.

This was my first time staying overnight without meals. The rooms and bathrooms are average and reasonably priced. Wi-Fi is available normally.At first, I was told that there would be no transportation because I was staying overnight without meals, but when I told them that it was not written anywhere, they provided one just in case. It might be a good idea to remind them to come and pick you up on the way home. I called them at around 4pm, but they couldn't connect at all and I had to wait for over 30 minutes.I don't know if it's true, but I was told that no transportation was provided on the day of my check-out. Even in Naeba, Sunshine Naeba etc. normally provided transportation until the last day, so that might be a better option.

Breakfast and dinner were very delicious, and I enjoyed having free refills. The guest rooms were bigger than I expected and I felt like I was on a school trip😁She was a very kind grandma!!!😄
