Breakfast and dinner provided was exceptional. Two options for breakfast, Japanese or western. And at least 3 courses for dinner. Fantastic. Also right next to the ski resort- which is well worth a look!

Perhaps there are many repeat customers, but the customer service is so different that it's unpleasant.Also, the rice that came out for breakfast was definitely frozen rice, and although it was advertised as Niigata Prefecture Koshihikari, it was actually frozen Niigata Prefecture Koshihikari.I won't go there again because the owner couple are not very friendly.

The other day, I was with a friend and his wife.The wife was friendly and cute, and the living room was very comfortable, making it feel like I was visiting a relative's home.Both dinner and breakfast were very satisfying❣️I would like to make it an annual event.

It's a reasonably priced place to stay, but I wasn't likely to become a repeat customer.I arrived around 16:00 and tried to check in, but there was no one at the reception desk when I checked in. When I called out to them, there was no response and I was finally able to check in after wandering around for about 5 minutes. There were no issues with the cleanliness or size of the room.The bath in the room was a small unit bath for each family member. You have to go to the reception to borrow a hair dryer, but you have to look around for the staff.When I came back from having dinner outside the inn, I saw a woman from the floor below with a bath towel wrapped around her head...There was no explanation at check-in, but there seemed to be a bathhouse, and our family was not allowed to use it. was. I don't even know where it is. And you can't enter in the morning.Also, there seems to be a drying room, but there is no explanation and I don't know where it is.It seems that there are many repeat customers, so no explanation is given at check-in.It seems to be run by a husband and wife, but neither of them are friendly.

We are a family from France and stayed here with our entire family of 5 for four nights during December. We’ve stayed at very many different resorts and hotels over the years, but as you can imagine - for a large family setup we have some specific needs.First off regarding the owners of the accommodation, we were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome that we got. In Japan you usually see the type of service that’s very polite and proper on the surface with no real hospitality behind it, but at La Neige it was genuine engagement that we had with the owners and that was a nice touch that we miss these days.Also don’t be fooled by the simplicity of the rooms, because at the end of the day good quality mattresses and pillows are amazing to have when you are tired from a whole day on the mountains. With the quality beds and bedding we were able to stay warm and were able to get some refreshing rest during the night.Food at La Neige was also all homemade dishes that was perfect for our children and the family overall. No silly over-the-top fanciness, but honest home cooking that is hard to find when you are on the road and traveling.If you are a fan of Salomon Skiing equipment, good news is that they have very good quality rental gear as well for a reasonable price. If you consider that the skiing resort of Naeba is within walking distance (although if you have kids I highly suggest driving there - even though it’s close), you have great beds, a warm room, great food, and high quality rental gear all in one place - it’s really hard to beat!Our plans is to come back here in the warmer months later in the year so that we can also see the mountain without the snow and have a new experience of Naeba.Overall I highly recommend this accommodation for those of you who are looking for a nice cozy place to stay with a welcoming atmosphere. I wouldn’t recommend this for hipster city dwelling young couples to go on their honeymoon, but if you are here with family it’s a great place to stay.

You can walk to Naeba Ski Resort. The food is delicious and you can have a great time.I will use it again when I go to Naeba.Koshihikari from Niigata is delicious, so I recommend having Japanese food for breakfast.The Naeba fireworks can also be seen beautifully.

It's close to the Prince Hotel, the owner is nice, and the price is reasonable.I would like to stay there again.
