When I was looking for a hot spring inn in Niigata city that was easily accessible by train, I found Yutagami Onsen. Accommodation for one night with two meals included.A quiet environment with few large buildings nearby, a calm atmosphere at a small family-run inn, and alkaline hot springs, all of which are suitable for your preference. The food, in particular, is a creative mix of Japanese and Italian cuisine that looks exquisite. It was delicious.

I visited by myself on an overnight motorcycle trip. There was a one-person course on the homepage, so I decided to go for it.I thought the room would be small, but I was satisfied with the spacious room.If you come from the Fukushima side, there is a mountain road just before the inn, which is a bit tiring. However, the mountain road ends soon after about 5km. The parking lot is opposite the building. It's a circulating hot spring, so it's not a huge bathtub, but it's warm enough to keep you sweating. Breakfast and dinner are served in your room. I didn't feel the loneliness of traveling alone, and the food was delicious. It seems that there are variations of Japanese sake, but I'm a Geto, so I'm sorry. I feel satisfied overall. I will come again when I go to Niigata.

A ryokan deep in the mountainsIt has a long history and seems to be family-run. The introduction was in the guest room, so it was a good way to kill time. The hot spring itself is not that big, and it would be small for about 5 people. There was no hot water in the open air, so maybe it's not open now? However, it was nice to have an indoor bath.I had a yukata and tabi as a change of clothes, and the tabi seemed to fit pretty well. The food is a mix of Japanese and Western cuisine, and if you make a reservation you can also eat pizza. I felt it was a good idea to go there just for the food. The price is cheap even though you get so much at night that you'll feel like you'll burst, and a decent amount in the morning.

The building is old and the rooms and baths are from the Showa era. The bathroom has a small washing area and is not suitable for a large number of people. The food was delicious. This inn is run by a family, so it has a very homely atmosphere.

A child who seemed to be a child of the inn was buzzing at the front desk! Moreover, when they entered the inn, the children went to call the staff. …
