This is the most recommended old Japanese-style inn that you can visit on weekends from the Kanto region. There is an irori hearth and seven wheels, so you can enjoy grilling over charcoal over an open fire, and you can also harvest vegetables from the field in the back (the field wasn't open when I visited in 2013). Since it's Izu, you can enjoy it even more if you buy some delicious fish! You can see the beautiful Mt. Fuji from a 5-minute walk, so you can enjoy Mt. Fuji at sunset and Mt. Fuji at sunrise.Recommended for families with children. You can enjoy the original scenery such as the irori, veranda, and rice fields. You can also use handheld fireworks.

There is a square where you can have a barbecue 30 meters from the inn, so we had a BBQ after arriving, and in the evening we had a hot pot 🍲 in the hearth. Every household has all the kitchen utensils they need, including plates and chopsticks, so it's very easy to just bring the ingredients with you. There's also a seven-wheeled rice bran, so I think it's a good idea to enjoy BBQ by grilling on the hearth in your garden instead of in the square. The landlord was very conscientious and kind, and he carefully explained the inside of the house and the surrounding facilities, making it a pleasant check-in.The rooms are also very clean and you can feel the care in each one.The structure of the house gave the impression of a luxurious private house from the early Showa era. Getting up from the dirt floor to lie down on the tatami mats and eating together around the hearth was an experience that reminded me of the beauty of Japan.I was very happy with the service of locally grown rice. It had a nice aroma, was chewy, and was extremely delicious.I used it about 7 times in the evening and morning.I was also very impressed that there were records, such as Western music from the Showa era such as the Carpenters and the Eagles, which was a great choice! ️, we were all impressed and enjoyed the gathering while playing records. It was also a luxury to be able to enjoy the hot spring water in the bath. The water was smooth and clear with no odor.Although I only stayed for one night this time, it was a wonderful space that made me want to forget about reality and spend a few nights in an old house in the countryside. It's a wonderful little-known spot that you want to tell everyone about, but don't want to.I made some fun memories. thank you very much.

The garden where you can BBQ is not right next to the building, but a short walk away. It's next to the parking lot. I wanted to use the irori hearth, but since my child is still young, I decided against it. I hope you don't get hurt! I was reminded of this.If it's sunny, you can see Mt. Fuji, but it was cloudy that day so I couldn't see it.It was a shame that there weren't many vegetables to harvest as it was towards the end of the season (September). I've stayed in old folk houses several times, but it's rare to find hot springs. Although it was old, it was clean and I had a comfortable stay. Thank you for your help♪
