Four men stayed here, and the rooms were spacious and the food was plentiful, so I personally like it as a Showa-era guesthouse.Is the hot spring a little hot for me?

2021.12.29 1 nightA family of four (a married couple, a daughter in junior high school, and a son in elementary school) stayed at this guesthouse, which is located along a hot spring town a little far from the station and near a ski resort.This time, the room was made into one room by removing the bells and whistles from the two rooms, so it was very spacious and calm. Toilets, washrooms, and baths are shared. The only amenities are a toothbrush, towel (small), and tea set, but no yukata. It's nice to have WiFi and a kotatsu! The elevated view of the Shinkansen from the window is so high that even though you can hear the sound of trains passing by, you can't see the Shinkansen. Since it's a guesthouse, everyone has to raise and lower the futon on their own, and it's been a long time since I laid out my own sheets!We ate our meals at a table in each room in the dining room on the first floor, and as is often the case at guesthouses at ski resorts, there were so many side dishes that we couldn't finish it all! That's exactly right, and it's just the right amount for an adult male. Everything tasted like home-cooked country food!The bath is a free-flowing hot spring that can be privately locked for men and women.The changing room, washing room, and bathtub are all about 3 tatami mats in size, and shampoo and body soap are provided. Although you can't see the scenery, the hot spring water is hot enough to relieve your fatigue!Since the inn is near a ski resort, there is also a drying room for skis.There is a parking lot next to the inn for several cars, and when I went there at the end of the year, there was plenty of parking!The friendly hostess and ladies at the inn made me smile, and even though I don't live in the countryside, I felt like I was back in the countryside! That's what it feels like.Even if you subtract the negative part, it will be 5 stars for the 8,000 yen per adult at the end of the year (*^_^*)
