I decided to go with my daughter and called to make a reservation. I was fully aware that it was a mountain hut, but when I asked the woman who answered the phone if I could get a private room, she told me that Naeba Prince was next door. I was told this twice. This probably means that you don't have to go out of your way to stay overnight. I felt very uncomfortable. I go to the hot springs, but I don't stay overnight.

Use only hot springs. The hot springs were great. The egg bath is lukewarm at the front and gets warmer towards the back.It was a sunny day, so I took a bath around 1am.I was able to enjoy the starry sky and the hot springs in the absence of lights and the sound of the stream. However, I was also scared because I was alone. I'm glad you were okay. The blue water was the warmest. It was the warmest.Although we had to climb a mountain, the place and scenery were well worth the climb!

2024/07/13-14 I stayed here while climbing Mt. Naeba. This is a mountain hut with a hot spring and two meals included for an exceptional price of less than 10,000 yen.It takes about 2 hours one way from the Akayu Onsen trailhead. It's not a flat road, so mountaineering equipment is required.Regarding the room, we were able to use a spacious private room for two people. It is a large private room with two rooms, and the outlet can be used between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM.It is no longer the quality of a mountain hut.The toilet has a Western-style flush and washroom, making it very comfortable.Futons will be provided, so all you need to bring is an inner sheet, a washcloth, and some cash.It was a wonderful inn that I would like to come back to again.

It takes more than two hours to walk up a mountain road from the nearest parking lot to reach this hot spring inn. I've always wanted to go there someday, and my partner who has a long mountaineering experience said he would take me there, so I visited during Golden Week in 2020. When I called to make a reservation for my stay, I was told that the forest road in front of the parking lot was blocked by fallen trees, so I couldn't drive in. So I parked my car at the Heiboshi trailhead outside the forest road and walked. However, when I got there, most people, including day trippers, were parking in the open space in front of the fallen tree, and I think there were about 7 to 8 cars parked there. We were the only ones walking from the Hiraibe trailhead, and the person in charge of collecting money at the parking lot surprised us by asking, ``Are you going to Akayu from here?''As the snow had just melted, there were almost no traces of anyone walking along the way, and the ground was easily crumbling, so I was nervous the entire time. Along the way, we had to cross steep slopes and cross rivers with a considerable amount of water, so it took us 5 hours each way, including some breaks. A forest road appeared along the way, but I was walking in a relaxed state and tripped over tree roots hidden under fallen leaves and fell twice. I now understand why you were asked, "Are you used to mountain trails?" when making a reservation. The road is not well maintained, so it seems to be more difficult to visit in the spring. There were only two guests staying that day, including us, but everyone except me were veterans who had been to the Northern Alps in the middle of winter. If you're talking about a little-known place during Golden Week, it's probably a little-known place. The hot springs we had struggled to find were the best. Best of all, the open-air baths along the river are filled with 3 types of natural hot spring water, and I am deeply impressed by their rustic style. The quality of the spring water was very smooth and you could soak in it slowly. I was worried about my muscles being sore the next day, but thanks to the power of the hot springs, I didn't feel tired or sore, and was able to make it home safely the next day. Since it is completely visible from the outside, women will only use it after the evening, but they will lend you a lantern, so it has a nice atmosphere.Since it was early spring, the meal consisted mainly of tempura and aemono made with wild vegetables freshly harvested from the mountains. It felt like a mountain feast, and I was satisfied. Since it's from Niigata Prefecture, the rice is of course delicious. However, it was enough for me, a middle-aged woman with a poor metabolism, but my partner seemed a little dissatisfied, saying, "There's not enough protein..."According to the people at the inn, many guests come in the fall to see the autumn leaves and wild mushrooms, and about 50 people come during the high season. It was a wonderful inn that I would like to visit again in a different season.

The hut keeper has the personality of a Niigata prefecture person. He is very different from the suneta hut keepers of mountain huts in the Northern Alps, Yatsugatake, Mt. Fuji, Oze, etc.You will be warmly welcomed,I'm visiting. It's a relaxing hut, soHonestly, it's a place I don't want the world to know about😄If you were to evaluate "rooms", "services", and "location",Because it's a mountain hut,There is no such thing as exhaustion.Thank you for your continued support in this limited environment.

I took a day trip here to visit the open air baths. When I went there, I was unable to reach the end of the forest road due to a fallen tree. There were also other obstacles blocking the path, such as falling rocks. When visiting by car, it is better to plan accordingly and anticipate that you may not be able to go all the way to the end.My impressions of the bath were that it was a very nice hot spring, just as the other reviews said.

A secret hot spring that can only be reached on foot.If you drive, it will take about 2 hours on foot, and if you use public transportation, it will take about 4 hours on foot from the bus stop. There are quite a few ups and downs, and it gets hot in the summer, so be careful. There were only a few tent sites available and it was free.If you pay 500 yen, you can bathe in the hot spring as many times as you like.I think the genders were swapped depending on the time of day. There is a mixed bath at night, but bath clothes are not allowed.I was also able to buy beer at Yamaguchikan. The open-air bath along the secluded river is the best.
