It's a nice and quiet campsite, but depending on who's there, it can become the worst. On this day, a group of five people started camping around 1 p.m.Have a loud chat while grilling meat on a charcoal grillIt's like a yakiniku izakayaIt started raining in the evening and I couldn't even move my tent. The party didn't end until 9pm, so I couldn't help but spread my sleeping bag under the eaves of the administration building (UPI) and go to bed.At 5 a.m., we thought the campsite was quiet again, but at 6 a.m., the members woke up and we resumed chatting! It was quite crowded as it was a Saturday, but the other campers didn't make any footsteps or spoke in hushed voices, but this group was the only one with laughter and endless conversations that echoed throughout the campsite. The day before, it was a nice and quiet campsite, so we decided to stay overnight, but the comfort of the campsite can vary greatly depending on the people who were there. The campsite itself is very goodWiFi is stable in the administration building, and the staff is very kind.Garbage is thrown away, bonfires can be made, and the toilets are clean. There is a washlet in the administration building.I would like to use it again when there are no people using it instead of a pub.

We stayed here for 4 days, basically this is a campsite. Cell phone reception is poor and nearby facilities are far away, but for that reason there are few visitors and most are solo campers. There are many trail courses around and wild animals can often be seen. It's managed by Upi, so the staff is friendly. This is a place I want to visit again.

It's really quiet, and when it's sunny, the mountains and trees are reflected in the lake and it's beautiful. Since there is no radio waves, you can force a digital detox. However, in case of an emergency, there is free Wi-Fi if you go in front of UPI, so don't worry. (no password)You can pick up as much firewood as you want without having to buy it, and you can enjoy a camping experience that gives you the feeling of camping by taking the bark from fallen white birch trees and using it as a fire starter. There is a kitchen, garbage disposal area, and clean toilets. You can also sleep in your car.I went there in early June, and I was told that the foxes hadn't appeared yet, probably because it had just reopened. However, be careful with your food not only for foxes but also for crows. I'll get hit...

Unfortunately, the weather was bad (10/6), so only two groups were able to use it.The wind and rain were strong, so we mostly just slept inside the tent, but the leaves that fell from the rain made beautiful patterns on the tent. The administration building sells fashionable camping goods, so I felt there was a gap between the name and the campground, but the employee kindly explained it to me.

Onneto is untouched by humans, so you can enjoy true nature. Of course, be careful as your cell phone may be out of range.

I stayed here for one night while on a solo tour.I've been wanting to use it for a while nowI always use the Shizuyama campsite in front of me.This is also a good campsite, but bonfires are prohibited, so I decided to pass this time.It was a place I passed by every time because I couldn't find the right timing, but it was a wonderful campsite as expected.I feel that 1000 yen per night at a national campground is a bit expensive.I think the facilities and location are reasonable compared to Shiretoko. In addition, it was relatively empty and very quiet, probably because it was difficult to carry luggage. The site is not accessible, so park in front (the road is dirt from the road entrance, but it's not deep gravel, so you can easily use an on-road bike) and check in at the UPI shop.It seems that an old man who deviated from the norm used to be the manager.Apparently he was forced to quit because of a flood of complaints. Now you can be served by extremely nice staff (they also sell cold craft beer)I also wanted to see outdoor shops.I was sweaty after taking a bath at the hot spring in the foreground, so I decided not to go this time.Once you have completed the formalities, you will be able to transport your luggage in a cart or cat cart located behind the old administration building. Please be careful as it is going downhill.Although it is a free site, there are few flat areas. There are wooden stages set up in various places in the forest, so we recommend using them if they are available.I was told to be careful because foxes and deer might appear, but unfortunately I didn't see any. Also, perhaps because base stations are not built in national parks, radio waves from all carriers cannot reach the area.(You can use the shop's free wifi)Lake Onneto spreads out below the site.It offers spectacular views in the early morning and at dusk.If I have a chance, I would like to see Lake Onneto covered in morning mist.I will use it again

There is a management building where you can buy things at the camping site.Five minutes from Nonaka Onsen
